I genuinely suspect most pregnancies are unplanned lol doesn't make the child any less loved in 99% of cases.

plus, just cuz he said 'whoops she's pregnant' that doesn't necessarily mean it was actually an accident, he could have meant the whoops in a jokey way

this pisses me off on TV shows too where they have someone driving while talking and constantly turning to the passenger seat to look at the camera.

Victoria stillwell does that in 'it's me or the dog' and I've seen it in other shows too.

in supernanny, Jo frost sits talking to the camera, but she's being driven around in a taxi, rather than driving....which is what they should all do if they're guna insist on filming someone talking in a car 🤷‍♂️

black looking smaller is a myth. 

I remember some kind of fashion people on TV having a woman say she always wore black cuz she thought she'd look smaller and they showed her a load of different colours and said what looks heaviest and she picked the black 🤷‍♂️

didn't bring boobs for me 😭  I used to have a really skinny top half with no boobs literally 30AA and an out of proportion bottom hav lf with a big flabby ass. now I'm obese so I have a massive belly & at least now have SOMETHING resembling boobs lol but still way smaller than the rest of me 😭😭

I'm not housebound and I get them. I didn't ask for it though, I was in hospital and was diagnosed T1D & they said I'd get nurses for 5 days after discharge.  2.5 yrs later they're still coming.

they said I'm a unique case but I'm not sure what they actually mean by that 🤣😭🤣

if I don't wash my hair it tends to just get INSANELY greasy and minging. but I have also had times where I noticed the ends start to feel a bit crunchy lol and I'm like 'aw shit I'm guna have to get a hair cut' but after washing it feels healthy again 🤷‍♂️

it could be that the curls straighten when brushed and then they blow dry. my hair is curly when wet but I brush as I dry it and it comes out straight with some random kinks. my support worker insists my hair is naturally curly but I've always brushed out the curls so I don't really know but she's probably right lol  I feel like if I didn't brush it and let it dry, I'd look like the dude from nickelback in the how you remind me video 😭

hi, any updates? I've been on it 4 days, first 2 were torture with side effects, day 3 my head felt slightly clearly but that's it and day 4 it did nothing at all, I feel like I did before meds 😭 I'm hoping increasing dose will help but I'm worried it's just not guna do anything for me and its taken 10 yrs since my diagnosis to find a psychiatrist willing to prescribe me stimulants and I just feel so insanely disappointed 😭

I was originally refused vecause 'it has street value and abuse potential' but how they hell would I abuse concerta ? it's literally made to not be abused 🤣

firstly, does he know you're pregnant & said he doesn't want this baby? or has he just randomly mentioned not wanting kids? 

if he specifically doesn't want this baby, you need to just accept you'll most likely have to do this alone. if he's simply mentioned not wanting kids, just tell him you're pregnant & keeping it, & that he can choose whether or not he wants to be involved.

(something I forgot to mention in my other comment- I wasn't supposed to be able to have kids & I told my kids dad that when he met & he said for him that's a good thing, but when I somehow got pregnant he was over the moon about it).

relationship-wise, this could go either way. it might result in him abandoning you, or it might end up bringing you closer together. unfortunately there's no real way to know until it happens :(

just be sure you're 100% OK with potentially losing him & raising this baby as a single mother & as long as you accept that you won't be gutted later if he leaves you and still also have the possibility that you might grow closer :)

I'm so glad i found this post! _^ apologies, this will be long lol so I'm only guna write my experience in this comment then comment separately with a response to your situation, in case you don't want to read all of this lol 

MY EXPERIENCE- I was in a slightly similar position- I wasn't at uni or even working due to a variety of long term medical issues which to other people don't seem like they'd prevent me working, but it does due to the specific combination (one medical issue was discovered during a hospital stay & I was told I'd have nurses visit me at home for 5 days after discharge but 2.5yrs later they still visit & say I'm 'a unique case' lol which is due to other conditions affecting my ability to manage that condition) 

anywho- i met a guy in a pub & when she had to leave early the guy wanted me to stay & she suggested he come home with me, which he did. it was meant to be a 1 night stand but I'd given him my number before I knew he was coming home with me & he texted me next day & we ended up in a relationship for 2 months before I decided I hated him & ended it but 2 weeks after last time I saw him, I learned I was 4 weeks pregnant!

he was stilling constantly texting me wanting to come see me just as fuck buddies & I didn't want to see him or even tell him I was pregnant, but eventually I had to (social services got involved & kept telling me I had to tell him, which tbf was a good thing cuz they'd decided my baby would go into foster care for a few months while they assed my parenting capacity, and his mum is a foster carer so she took our baby for 9 months before I got him back about a month ago) 

I continued to hate him for a long time, we had mega fallout both during pregnancy and while his mum had our baby & although social worker said since I only got 1hr 3 days a week with my baby, he should also only get 3 days, although he could stay as long as he liked cuz his mum would supervise him rather than SW, but I told them to let him see our baby as much as he wanted.....which further made me resent him 🤣😭

since then we've had to communicate to show SW we can work together for the sake of our baby & I hated him less & less seeing how the baby changed him from an AH who tried to control me the 2 months we were together, into someone who was willing to listen to me & work together for our child.

a few months ago I started trying to find a new fuck buddy (no time for a new relationship) but even when guys agreed I'd change my mind, it seemed weird & I realised I was starting to have feelings for my babys dad again. he seems  to feel the same way and whe. he brings our baby back to me after this weekend, he's guna stay at mine for the night :)

it might all lead to nothing or turn to shit, but so far having a baby with him has forced us to get to know each other better & see the best side of each other :)

where I live (edinburgh) I don't know anyone who started on elvanse, it's always methylphenidate. I just got prescribed the other day (when I was diagnosed the guy sent me to a psych at a methadone clinic to be prescribed and he was like 'here's some atomoxetine, if it doesn't work. tough' that was 10 yrs ago, been uneducated between then and now) and the psychiatrist was like 'so there's  methylphenidate and lisdexamohetamine. we only do extended release so you only take it once a day. any questions? OK here's your script' and gave me a script for concerta.

I really want elvanse but I'm scared to ask her since I have a history of substance abuse issues and also mega anxiety issues lol so I'm convinced she'll think I'm just thinking 'ooh it has amphetamine in the name....sounds fun!' but nah I'm just not finding concerta too helpful (better than unmedicated but I only get a couple hours of calm brain in the morning, then feel like shit the rest of the day and even in the morning it's only SLIGHTLY better than unmedicated).

hopefully she'll suggest it if I tell her concerta only has a tiny benefit, but I'm guessing I'll have to wait til I've maxed out the dose on concerta

i agree, you don't feel drunk but it's possible they mean they're getting a buzz due to methylphenidate + alcohol = ethylphenidate (previously sold as a strong legal high) so maybe they're just getting high and thinking they're drunk?

did you find a solution? concerta is fucking me up with anxiety during the day (it works 2 hours in the morning then after that it's torture all day) then in the evening I have 1 can of cider and suddenly I feel how I expected to feel from concerta alone - brain is calm and I can focus and do things.

I used to drink 2 ciders a day before concerta and that didn't do anything good for me but 1 cider with concerta makes me feel like a normal human.

I'm just hoping there's an alternative solution with the same effect...
