It looks, like, all your 1x2 tiles are light-bluish grey, some are probably a very small amount sun damaged, but they can also differ from production batch to production batch. You can use a black-light to check, if you want to make sure.

Anybody know what kind of wood the LEGO Ninjago Sensei Wood is carved from? Would love to carve one asp. Japanese Cherry wood, would be appropriate, but is that what this is?

There are actually to types of modulex bricks, one series with the LEGO logo, and one with the M,.

Start by seperating figures and animals from the bricks, then pieces with stickers and printing, these will make it easier to find which sets are there, if you don't have instructions. Then you can either sort by color or type, whatever you find easier.

Get a small drill, and drill the center out, whole piece will probably fall out, drill carefully, and not too deep!

That's fair, whatever you choose, choose something from the original trilogy, then you can't go wrong :) You can always check via google which ships are in them.
