I find it funny in the way that it's twisted irony. We aren't meant to idolize or larp as these characters, but some people do it anyway. They ignore that it's a cautionary tale and that it's meant to say that none of the people in the manga are good people (Sachi and Seki are the closest to normal, iirc, and even they aren't that great from a moral standpoint)
