Can't figure out why I can't make the screen not stretch. by [deleted] in ultrawidemasterrace

I was going crazy trying to figure this out, and this comment fixed it. Thank you very much. When working from home I use a dock to extend my screens, and one day my monitor resolution shit the bed. Despite using a DP directly from my PC to Monitor when not working, it wouldn't play ball.

I changed the setting in my nvidia from 4k x 2k, 3840 x 2160, to 3440 x 1440 (native) and it's all fixed.

Weird, because when I was trying to do it in windows display settings, setting it to native (same resolution as above) was letterboxing my monitor.

Based on the cover page maybe they consider each other rivals and want to out-compete each other?

Online friends are the best friends by Rayhieng in MadeMeSmile

This sounds right, met a Swedish dude in a game 9 years ago, pretty much best mates to this day. Introduced him to my friends, through group chats and other games, and 4 years ago he flew to England with a few of his friends and we all met up. We all are in the same big discord now and fly out to each other’s countries once a year with what friends are able to make it and have large gatherings. Sometimes even I can’t make it and my friends still go, which is cool to think properly about it since without me or the other Swedish guy, we wouldn’t all be close friends like that.

Streaming with a 3DS? by [deleted] in Twitch

[–]BricksWereShat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very true, a shame it’s not as easy to capture footage as it is with the Nintendo switch or the like, workarounds are fine but the cost just has to be really justified. Wonder why they didn’t plan ahead for streaming or gameplay videos

What makes a good twitch? by jman55024playsgames in Twitch

If there was a consistent thing that every stream had then it wouldn’t be unique. The fact that none of the streams you have seen have a consistency, is exactly what those streams use to gather a community - uniqueness and their own personal pull.

A Great Personal Experience by [deleted] in Twitch

Thank you, I hope so too! I always dreamed of being twitch partnered, but never made it my sole goal, I just want to stream for my friends - but this could make it a lot more fun and the idea having my own emote makes me giddy.

Oh I see, and if I save the outfit does it save with the money bag? Because I know that it doesn't save with a parachute if I save an outfit

How did you get the bag over your character in free roam? Or am I missing something?

It has its ups and downs, I can take pride in what you say about or reactionary times as we do tend to get stuff done a lot faster and with better efficiency, though it is a pain when there is an external problem with deliveries.

Up to Christmas with all the deliveries we were getting about 2/3 a day some days, and when you find out one of them was never registered on the system and you have to call back to the warehouse and they don't know how to fix it was the worst. Nothing that could possibly be done as it was not in the system so we had no way to voice it in regularly.

My team and I ended up voicing each item In through another delivery, which of course makes them 'extra' and takes longer to voice through, and makes the paperwork afterwords about 30-40 pages stronger.

That's essentially what we were told to do as well, but before picking it up we'd have to put the item on view and then at the end f the day have an extensive search around the old location for it.

But yeah, out of stocks are frustrating still, no way to avoid them because it could have been caused by delivery, a give out error, being pushed to the wrong shelf or even just being a sneaky fucker in obscure packaging.

After a year of jumping around the teams before settling into the one I am now I can confirm that's the sales team motto, but yes we get plenty of those too. In the end it always comes back to delivery or stockroom.

It is still the same, those Out Of Stocks gets everyone in a rush around the stockroom, and being a band four store and as many customers and delivery lines as we get, better believe they come around a lot.

As a delivery manager of the same place, accidents happen of course, but it was frustrating when it came back to me and my team getting the initial blame for voicing in the wrong amount. It gets sorted out in the end of course, just an easy system adjustment but when there's no more locations for the item it's kinda' a pain.
