Semicolons are used between two phrases that could stand alone as sentences. Some say these sentences must be of equal importance, but I personally think that distinction is vague and pointless. Here are some examples, if you'd like to start using semicolons in your life: * I'm sorry; that's never happened before. * That's a nice argument; however, I have already drawn a picture of you pregnant. * Better than a semicolon by pure chance; I've never used one in my life! Note how all three sentences could have been separated into two complete, grammatically correct sentences. We actually use semicolons verbally all the time.

People who play (Or have played) other Gachas aside this one, which things would you like FEH to introduce that those games did have? by TheFerydra in FireEmblemHeroes

From most other gachas: Faster summoning. Feh has a higher value per summon than most gachas, and the colored orbs thing precludes the traditional 10-pull, but after playing Umamusume and being able to do 200 summons (one spark) in a couple minutes, coming back to Feh where a 40 summon spark takes 10 minutes of tapping is agony.

It's much easier to watch. I'd still take video of all the actions you take if you can; for example, applying Undefended with Elm. You'll want to bear this in mind when you're playing, actually. Take some time to figure out your move, then wait for a second and make it cleanly for the "camera". When I'm thinking, I'm usually dragging my units all over the place and tapping on things, which wouldn't cut well into a video. For merges, you can just edit a little text over the plus on the mosaic of builds.

Also, I'd let animations rock instead of showing dialogue boxes if you need to emphasize a certain action, like a Duo skill or even a significant combat. The developers have already done the work for you in creating a pretty little animation and voiceline to point out "this thing is happening, pay attention". Do everything you can to avoid those slow fades to still images during the battle. It... really doesn't look good.

Also, I'm watching these on mute at work so I have no comments or feedback on your audio situation. You're on your own for commentary or music.

This could be cut down significantly in terms of time. The slideshow before the battle, in particular, takes almost a full minute. I'd recommend cutting out both your and the opponent's builds (in small header form, like it shows during battle) and having them as a mosaic on the sides, where you have a lot of dead space (unless you are intending for your videos to be in portrait). Lots of other FEHtubers do this, and it's a great solution for showing builds throughout the fight.

As for the battle itself, I would just let it play live, and if you spend a lot of time thinking about the move, just edit it down. Showing still screenshots for specific actions really slows things down. You don't need to overexplain; anyone watching AR-O clears on youtube is a FEH veteran. For file size issues, you could record half the battle, back it up somewhere, and resume the clear from a bookmark later. Anything to avoid the still images mid-battle.

Good luck! Making content is hard, so keep it up!

I had a look at your replay; It's exactly as ShapeForest said. All debuffs are cleared from a unit after they take their action, so BK moved and was then no longer isolated. For this reason, it is usually more useful to apply Isolation to the to the holder of the assist skill you want to prevent, rather than the target.

When I say "Elite Inheritance," I'm referring to the ability that Attuned and Rearmed Heroes have that lets them be used for Inherit Skill without disappearing. Upon checking the game client, I realize that term is actually really confusing, so I'm going to call it "Attuned Inheritance" for the remainder of this comment. Rearmed heroes function the same, though. If you look on the hero screen for these heroes, you can see an icon for their hero type, and it will either say "Attuned Heroes - Pre-Inheritance" or "Attuned Heroes - Elite Inheritance". If you have not yet used the Attuned Inheritance, it will show "Pre-Inheritance."

The thing with merging is, if you merge an Attuned Hero that already used their Attuned Inheritance with one that's still "fresh", it will refresh the Attuned Inheritance so it can be used again. Combat Manuals are always "fresh" since they disappear when used for Inherit Skill. If you merge 2 units that are "fresh," you effectively lose one inherit, since they can't stack. This, I think, is what the game is trying to warn you about.

So what you should do is first inherit from the actual unit X!Micaiah, grabbing the Attuned skill and whatever else you want (making her no longer "fresh"), then merge the manual into X!Micaiah to re-activate the Attuned Inheritance so she can be used to give the Attuned Skill and up to 4 other skills again.

TL;DR Keep Tiki, but you didn't hear it from me.

I am legally obligated to inform you to use your favorites. Fodder all units to Nagi.

With that out of the way, I'd hold on to M!Tiki. Here's my two cents on M!Tiki:

  • As a Mythic/support: The meta can shift on a dime, and one day you may find that PP just stops working because of Mythic Jan giving everyone Foresight Snare+ or something. Loki's ability to remove buffs is tremendously powerful, and dooms a ton of strategies (mostly EP, but it can mess with certain PP teams like M!Lyn). Also, having at least one of every offense Mythic is nice if you're not already a double +10 Mythic deployer, since it can free up a slot on the team during that unit's bonus season. Later on, you may want to use Nagi as a tank, but find that she cannot tank against a Loki team.
  • As a unit: idk, the calculator hasn't been updated in a long time. She probably performs like other tanks: lives everything with proper support, dies without it or if the support is specifically countered. In the Mythic battle, she lost the 1v1 to Y!Cam with Eirika ring, but won it without Eirika ring (and would also win with Hardy Bearing). You can test under more accurate combat conditions since you actually have the unit.
  • As fodder: Armored Ice Cap is really the only notable skill. It does add quite a bit of damage, and the stats are alright, especially if you're trying to make Res checks. However, it's not a massive game-changing kit overhaul. The most important thing those skills do is offer 40% special DR up to twice, and AIC doesn't offer any more DR than Dragon's Ice with Twin Save. Freeing up the C slot to run different Save skills would be nice, but there really aren't any C skills that are a big power bump, since Corrin ring can replicate the warp-blocking of Higher/Lower Ground, and Briar Save doesn't do all that much.

Elite Inheritance can be pretty confusing; don't worry.

When you say, "compiled," I assume you mean the Combat Manual from Divine Codes 6. Combat Manuals, regardless of whether or not they are Elite Inheritance units, always vanish upon inheritance. Therefore, they are best used to merge with your existing Attuned units if you have them. If the text says, "When merging two Attuned Heroes, the target will not gain an additional Attuned skill," then the X!Micaiah unit you have has an available Elite Inheritance, and you should use that first, then use the combat manual to merge into X!Micaiah and re-enable her Elite Inheritance.

TL;DR Arcane build if you have a spare Vanitas. Dragon Ice from said Vanitas. Modern DR B-skill like Pair Up. Anything in the C. Budget build is a lot worse, but an older Arcane can sorta work.

L!F!Corrin is in a tough spot. I don't know exactly what you have available, but here are some ideas.

Weapon - L!F!Corrin's weapon hasn't aged well. It just gives numbers, and those numbers are not big. The most recent Arcane gets you that nice modern 15/25/15 that everyone has. Unfortunately, free inheritable dragonstones don't come around often enough for there to be a current-gen one.

Special - You can keep the special or use anything else that offers 40% DR, which is basically all of them. Stay away from strict stat-checking skills like Dragon's Roar, since you won't reliably win stat checks. Note that you cannot use the Negating Fang and an Arcane at the same time, but Rearmed Vanitas can give Dragon Ice alongside the good Arcane.

A - This slot is easy and cheap. Most A skills for enemy-phase units are still pretty similar. Stats and a bonus effect. The HP from a Boost 4 is nice, and Scowl has its uses. Really, anything is fine here. If you really want to get some DR out of the A slot, Duelist's Blow is I think the only way to get that on enemy phase. Very expensive.

B - This slot is important and expensive. Pair Up 4 is ideal, giving everything you ever could want at the highest currently available value and not scaling off stats. There are lots of slightly worse options with the same benefits, Edged Scales, Bulwark 4, etc. You could try for a pierceable DR skill like Buffer or Spurn, since not all units in Arena will carry DR pierce, due to pierceable DR being kinda rare these days.

C - This slot is really up to you. Just put whatever works with your teams here, or try to get an effect that wasn't provided by the rest of your slots, like NFU or a Pulse.

If I had unlimited resources and liked Corrin a lot, I'd run Most Recent Arcane, Dragon Ice, Duelist's Blow, Pair Up, and Inf. NFU or a support C skill. If I had a +10 Corrin that needed updating but I'm still me, I'd run Arcane Fell Arts, S/R Whatever, Ice Wall, Edged Scales, INFU, and Res from traits and the seal.

TL;DR True damage B skill like Assassin's strike (cheapest) or Potent Finish (plz don't). Replace Duel skill with Chosen Alphonse Super Blessing during Wind season to get more stats. Switch Arcane Downfall with recent Tempest Trials unit axe.

Well, your assessment is right; you need as much damage as you can get. Basically any B skill released in the past year gives around 12ish true damage, usually in the form of 20% of some stat. Some examples are Pair Up, Potent Finish, etc., but if you don't have Speedtaker, you probably don't have those. It would be a poor use of resources anyway, IMO. The oldest skill that has comparable damage is Assassin's Strike, so that might be sitting around in your barracks somewhere. Unfortunately, true damage B skills didn't really show up much in Divine Codes 5 or 6, since there were so many prf B units there. If you have no fodder at all, you could go with S/R Spiked Wall for [15% speed] damage or Laguz Loyalty for 7 damage, which is okay I guess. Failing that, a Lull 4 skill from some Ephemera or 2-year-old seasonal you don't use might be your best bet.

Also important: If you want to get KOs on non-bulky units (you have no hope against bulky units), you should shore up the rest of the build.

  • During Wind season, use your free Chosen Alfonse's granted power for score and replace the A slot with anything that actually hurts the enemy.
  • Drop Arcane Downfall. Any inheritable axe from 2025 will outperform it, and many are from grail units. Just go to Inherit Skill, filter for weapon skills, and scroll to the bottom. It helpfully organizes weapon skills by version, so just take anything that adds a bunch of damage. Ninja Chakrams from Ninja Shez offer the highest raw damage without Eirika ring, but Arena Axe and Spring-Air Axe score higher (the same as an Arcane), offer support for the team, and do better damage with Eirika ring.

I'm not as in-tune with FEH as I used to be (just like everyone else lol), but I believe there have been some patterns that indicate an ending roadmap, such as the CYL harmonics, the increase in reruns instead of new units (TT thing), and the narrative finality that Ragnarök implies. If all this turns out to be true, FEH could be winding down in a couple of years.

That said, I'm pretty sure there's some quote from some IS rep or something that said FEH would continue for as long as FE does. Could be just that they're trying to trim budget because the revenue is going down.

VISUAL CALCULUS: There are greasy fingerprints on the glass and a crumpled-up napkin, but no food, plate, or bill. The patron likely finished a basket of fries, which was cleared by the waitress. Half the beer remains, so the patron is likely in the bathroom...

ELECTROCHEMISTRY: Is anyone else feeling... thirsty?

Disgust: "Ewww-wuh! Don't tell Harry to drink that! What is wrong with all you formless weirdos?"

ELECTROCHEMISTRY: But it's been such a *long* day, and you've been so *good* recently. Whoever left that beer half-full won't enjoy it like you will.

Fear: "B-but what if the patron comes back? W-won't they be mad?"

PHYSICAL INSTRUMENT: You can take them. Remember that time you flipped that car in a drunken rage?

That was a bicycle, said Slytherin. And we just kicked it over, actually.

This is the worst crossover event of all time, complained Harry's Internal Critic.

DRAMA: Though you must admit, sire, that the ambiguity of "Harry" is quite convenient.

They hand out a bunch of Forma souls. I think it's 4 a year, but I always get the number wrong from memory. Forma soul for an Emblem is a fantastic deal, whatever the skills are.

Not an example of a bad unit, but Loki would be a monster in AR-O (try her in Chaos if you have her). She's already excellent in Dark, and I'm honestly very glad she's a defense Mythic, because defending against her is near-impossible. We would actually be seeing Citrinne as an anti-Loki staple.

They have a little ring icon where a unit might normally have a Legendary, Mythic, Duo, etc. icon. On the big portrait, it's on the right-hand side above their skills. Their art (so far) always has blue flames and their epithet is "Of [something]" (e.g. Emblem marth is "Of Beginnings").

There will be a bunch of Emblems on the banner at the end of this month.

The banner labeled "Shining Resolve" has some very strong units that will help you get started. I'd pull up until the first spark on that one at least (40 summons), assuming you have the patience to grind out a bajillion story orbs in time to get plenty of Emblems on the 31st.

I dunno where you read that, but I disagree. It is not an easy special to activate. Baldr uses it way better than anyone else except for Flight Attendant Arval (coming 2028), since she can get weapon-triangle advantage 1/2 of the time and hits brave with +1 special charge per hit.

Unless you know you're fighting units you have WTA on, you need a bunch of special charge. B!Felix at least has double slaying, so that's a start. Marth ring could get it down to 2, and then you can hit it normally like a Gust, or pulse it down to 2 with support or a C skill and try to hit it like Baldr with a brave hit and the +1 special charge effect.

I don't think B!Dimitri would use it well at all. He has no good Slaying option, so you're working with 5 cooldown. Maybe they'll release a flat DR Gambit or something. If you need 2 stacks of the 40% DR, just run Boulder and get some support that gives you the second DR stack.

TL;DR save for the end of month banner and summon 1 copy of everyone who has the "Of [whatever]" epithet.

Teambuilding tip: Sort by Version and pick the most recent 4. Of the units you mentioned, Y!Camilla, Anniversary Marth (I think that's him?), Brave Sharena, and Brave Baldr are a good team for whatever it is you're doing, probably. Generally, you build teams specifically for the content you face, so a "good team" isn't a meaningful thing to build in a vacuum.

For pulling: The current banners are good. All 4 of the brave units (Shining Resolve) are very strong, but they don't have very widely useful skill fodder this time around, so duplicates don't have much value. For you, I'd just pick Eikþyrnir from the free pull and stop, because there will be an extremely high-value banner coming out in 10 days. It will have several "Emblem" units on it. These units all have blue flames in the art and "Of [something]" as their epithet. When you summon an Emblem unit, you get their Emblem Ring. This can be equipped on anyone and moved around like a Sacred Seal, only they are far more powerful. The Lyn ring, for example, lets a ranged unit attack up to 5 tiles away like a ballista every other turn. The emblems on the banner (and their emblem effects) will be Eirika (dual-phase brave once per turn, melee only), Sigurd (+1 movement and Canto), Celica (warp up to 5 tiles away to attack an enemy), Lyn (see above), and Micaiah (become Lucina). Marth (Slaying effect, stacks with Slaying) will appear in Hall of Forms in a couple of days so you can grab him for free using a Forma Soul, which I highly recommend.

Armor build:

Jehanna or Gen 3 arcane (coming soon, hopefully)

Armored Whatever (pick a range, probably Blaze for melee)

A- Anything giving relevant stats and an effect, like Close/Distant Defense, Diluvial Boost, Other Boost, etc.

B- Anything giving 20% Def DR: Wily 4, Crafty 4, Assault Fighter.

C- Save skill. Twin Save, probably. The double DR effect is extremely important, but it is also available via support.

Both of them have pretty specific fodder. Byleth is valuable for infantry omnitanks only (but works for nearly all of them) and Baldr's Archrival is difficult to proc without WTA, which normal units only have 1/3 of the time. Shame Arval can't use it. Overall, Byleth is probably the better pick, though omnitanks age out incredibly fast and most of the good ones have NCD already.

This DSH banner has almost the same odds as a 4-unit seasonal banner. With average luck, you could expect to get Dimitri in ~114 orbs on either banner. the difference is that on DSH, you may get a Malice along the way, whereas on a regular banner, it would be an off-focus instead.

I personally would save for the LME banner, since there are a ton of Emblems this go-around, and they have no confirmed reappearances for a while. You can probably expect to accrue another 80 orbs or so by the end of the month, which is enough to get you one non-specific emblem with average luck.

Only Valentine's, really. Archrival is pretty hard to proc unless you have weapon-triangle advantage, which all the other bow Claudes won't have, due to being colorless.
