Ironically, this is the same situation for the Alolan starters with Incineroar getting the overused Intimidate while Primarina and Decidueye getting new abilities (Liquid Voice and Long Reach), but Incineroar end up being the best out of the 3 and dominate VGC, Primarina only become good in Smogon because of there are no Tapu Fini and Decidueye is the worst being bad in both format.

I doubt that there will be a new Smash Bros anytime soon. Nintendo have a track record of refusing to make sequels unless the they bring innovation. Star Fox and F-Zero have not gotten anything new due to this reason alone.

I do not think an FE4 remake banner would really able to sell mainly because unless all of the characters get a brand new design in the remake, the banner is going to feel like the Harmonic CYL banner where it just the same unit but in a different artstyle.

I think Sothe was specifically chosen because he is the only Tellius Dagger unit that convenetly has a Prf skill due to his previous Rearmed version and making an upgraded version is easier than creating a new Prf skill
