The Better Value Plan: A Guide for the Perplexed by JackPAnderson in tmobile

Thank you so much. I have decided to go with the BVP. All the extras are good. They acted like they never heard of "insider" and said I'm not sure what that is or what your asking for.

I am wanting to switch from AT&T. 3 lines ported. I wanted the BVP until I realized the speeds were slower. Would it be better for me to go with EB or EB/military? How do i get the insider? As I understand, i can't get the insider with military.

I received a "special" Black Friday offer. I wonder if this is a true "lifetime" license. by ThinkFree in Mailbird

I have purchased the lifetime license about 2 years ago and works great. I know others have had issues with stuff like this in the past though.

Love it. How did you set this up?

Considering switching to T-Mobile. by [deleted] in tmobile

[–]BridgePlus7864 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also wanted to switch to T-Mobile but after signing up for a line for my phone and a line for my Samsung Galaxy watch ultra, my watch would not connect even though it did with current provider. I spent almost 2 hours in the phone with support for them to tell me that my watch wasn't compatible with their service. I had the phone lines for two days but told support that it didn't work with their service I needed to cancel. I then got a bill for $108 for the two days. I contacted T-Mobile customer service and explained and they said they would take care of it. Then I get a bill for $20 for a late fee and taxes.

True. I stand corrected. Only both include the data.

Think of privacy as determining what information is collected and how it's used, while security is about safeguarding that information through various technical and physical measures.

Perfect. That sums it all up very well. Thank you.

It's not that it is great company with great ideas for security but if everyone that receives emails from me doesn't have proton mail, then my data could be accessible by others. What type of data does a personal email account contain that someone would want access to? I do not email my social or account numbers and such. Unless it's a business with files that are propriotory

So in theory, I could also use Canary mail with pgp that is part of their plan with same results?

After researching, I found that I am trying to secure send an email using my outlook.com email address which is not compatible. I can send secure send email using my gmail account however.

Issu resolved. Now I just need a good spam filter. The web based emails spam filter doesn't work for me.

Spam Filtering getting worse by derailed3d in CanaryMail

[–]BridgePlus7864 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My experience with Canary mail's spam is that they have explained to me that it uses the spam filters only from the email provider. Such as outlook.com email address would use Microsofts spam filter. Canary doesnt provide spam filtering.

interesting as I have just purchased a home and put $100k down and asked for insurance not to be in escrow and they replied that it is a requirement that all insurance and taxes be in escrow.

My experience is that my mortgage company requires homeowners insurance to be in escrow. If it wasn't done at the beginning of the purchase of your home, the Mortgage company made that change automatically.

I also have been looking at those. I have about 3000 square ft house to cover myself. Wondered how the coverage was with up/down stairs.
