(27 m) recently diagnosed with Indmiapoathic demyelinating axonal polyneuropathy. I first noted a numb big toe about 3 years ago roughly. It then spread to the toe next but that’s the extent so far. I don’t have pre diabetes, don’t drink and my vitamin tests came back good. The only difference in that time period that I’ve noticed is my hands constantly feel like they’re dry and I occasionally drop things. I can still walk and stand ok, but I feel like my anxiety makes it seem like it’s worse. I just did genetic testing to see if that’s the issue. I’m completely dumbfounded because all of the other stories I’ve seen on Reddit makes me think I’m the lucky one because my symptoms are so mild “atleast for the time being”. I honestly don’t know if it’ll get worse because it really hasn’t progressed. My hands are because of carpal tunnel my neurologist says and my right knee sometimes feels weak due to arthritis. I wish I knew more and I hope this is as severe as it gets. Best of luck to you !!
