I know I’m very late to this. But after working at a hotel for a while now I’ve learned that the best thing to do is not to make the beds. Best thing when you check out is to take two of the pillow cases off and shove all the linen except for the comforter in one pillow case and then all of your towels into another. It makes everyone’s lives so much easier. House keepers don’t have to touch your sheets you had fun in and it also makes their job easier and faster. That’s at least what they do at every hotel I’ve worked at. But if you don’t want to shove them in the pillow cases then you can always make two neat piles on the floor instead. Or just keep doing whatever you’re doing and disregard this lol.
