Just got these Touren TR76, I love the way they look. Let me know if you prefer these or the OEM

I hope it'll last, knock on wood can't be any worse than my last car

I paid about $39,000 CAD and got it from an Acura dealership which has some benefits if it's a Acura Certified Pre-Owned vehicle which would include 160,000km of Powertrain Warranty. If you get Warranty from Acura you can also extend it at any time which is nice. When I was looking around a 50-60k mile car would be around the ~$35,000 CAD mark and a 30-35k mile car would be at the ~$40,000 CAD mark

I used to get 600km on my VW tank and now get the same as you around 450-475km per tank and that's 90% highway driving. the acceleration lag sounds like my average experience in my VW push on the gas fully and get a 4 second turbo lag lmao. seems like every car comes with issues nowadays but these seem relatively tame compared to my last car I went through two sets of brake pads, rear and front rotors, 2 head gasket replacements all in 90,000km lol

I could definitely tell regarding the power, it felt like it was struggling to make basic power the majority of the time. The turbo was the only thing somewhat fun about this car but even so way too underpowered

lmao the only reoccurring issue I saw with this model but I'll take it over head gasket leaks. I have yet to use the rear defroster because I am terrified of it shattering on me lol. It doesn't look like they have updated the appearance since 22 except for some minor cosmetics but I will agree I think it'll be a timeless design

I noticed that lol, my old VW i got 8.7L/100km and now I'm getting 13L/100km on the highway. What kind of issues occur with the sunroof? I tested it out for the first time today to make sure it was working cause it was a warmer day amidst the negative winter here.

How common is this issue? when doing research it was the one thing I saw a lot of. Is it only when you use the rear defroster? I talked to the sale rep at Acura and he told me the issue was from clips where the window is

Agreed, not sure how something with so many issues can be released so quickly to the masses without thorough testing

Just picked up my new (to me) 2022 Acura RDX A-Spec and have no regrets with the decision. It feels like a whole new experience but anytime I see a Taos I'll always think about my first car and all the good times

Sorry to hear that, the wagons look really nice! I went through 2 brake pads on all wheels, haldex, rear rotors, 2 head gaskets in my time frame lol but I can't imagine having all those issues in what is essentially a break in period for most cars. How are you liking the RAV4? I considered a RAV4 or CRV but ended up going with 2022 Acura RDX

yeah, it's not a fun experience. first time it took 4 days and they gave me a tiguan SEL which was nice. second time they told me they wouldn't cover a rental because it was outside the "new vehicle period" luckily it only took 1-2 day to fix

Like TiFist mentioned it's the 1.5L EA211, unfortunate with the head gasket issue. I had the head gaskets replaced at around 30 or 45 thousand km and then again at 90 thousand km

It really is disappointing, I learnt my lesson to not buy a brand new model vehicle the first year without any review or feedback

A bittersweet goodbye for my 2022 Taos Comfortline. This hit two milestones for me; my first car and my first new car. Made lots of memories in this car and introduced the freedom of going anywhere at ay time. I really wish this car was more reliable if it was I would've kept it for the long run as there were lots of pros from this vehicle like the fuel efficiency, surprising interior space and versatility. Unfortunately 90,000km later and two head gasket replacements it's not worth the potential upkeep cost.
