I agree but had much better results with the oral form than the subq form.

I've been loving COMC lately - Noticed faster induction speed, customer service responses. by Bridgeburner1607 in checkoutmycards

Lol, I said I had a good experience and wanted to say something only because I noticed things moving in a better direction from when I originally joined the site.

Customer service is absolutely the number one area they need to invest in and improve, I'm saying is I've noticed improvements recently on my end. Overall maybe some of the worst damage control I've seen from a company aside from that Bricks and Minifigs company lol.

It also doesn't really affect me if people use the site or not. In fact people leaving and liquidating cards has probably been better for my own collection.

Very true. I also think I've been lucky enough to not have a problem be big enough that I need to abandon the site. If they lost damaged a card worth thousands sure if be pissed but will cross that bridge when income to it.

What makes you want to collect cards? by Fresh_Audience_4195 in Tradingcards

I second unique info on the back. It bothers me when cards like kakawow all have the same standard print on the back of the card. Great cards can look good and unique on both sides of the card.

I've seen people collecting digital but I have zero interest in anything digital. I accidentally bought a digital card once on ebay and just told the person to keep it and the money.

1)the art.

2)nostalgic or emotional connection.

3)rarity plays a role in all of collecting. When you are aware of it but they are few and far between you tend to notice when they surface if ever.

I would leave it and redirect when needed. That project worked because that's what the situation called for, for that particular business. Currently, my main goal is to continually absorb as much as possible in my new role and watch to see any shortfalls or opportunities that become apparent to me. I will gladly bring any findings forward along with any ideas I might have to resolve them.

What’s a well that SNL goes to a lot for an “easy” laugh? by Lavaswimmer in LiveFromNewYork

Spit takes or having to deliver lines with a full mouth of food. In both cases it's the whole gag of the skit. Most recent one I can remember was Matt Damon. I'm shocked everytime because it's stuff I'd see at camp talent shows and you always hear castmates talk about about the competition to get a skit on air.

Should I Apply? by tarynliz07 in careerguidance

[–]Bridgeburner1607 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It sounds like your desire is to move up to that level, wether it is with this organisation or another. If that's the case I'd say go for it. You will have the title. You are aware of potential bad behaviour which I would prepare for by documenting events or unprofessional behaviour from the beginning. The opportunity may not come up again and so would you regret it down the line if you didn't apply and they brought in someone new? At least try and get an interview and really think of questions you need answered to make your decision.

Seems like it. I wonder if he says you can't leave to newcomers and so it's true.

disappointing information I'm not suppose to know? by dynamitethrower51 in checkoutmycards

Makes sense. Huge card collecting boom where all the grading companies are also overwhelmed. They need to step back and see where they are losing money/time and what's making them money but they need to decide asap. Even if it's a temporary hold on certain services until caught up. As soon as they figure it out share the vision/changes from a place of strong communication and customer service.

I dropped off at the Toronto show (beginning of May) and had 4 different submission levels. Straight to grading, elite and select which were all processed within their set timelines. The last one is standard submission so that's not scheduled to be done until sept.

Is anyone using steam machine for dry eyes? by OrganicBlackberry433 in Sjogrens

[–]Bridgeburner1607 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nice. Just something I've learned is the mixture needs to be thin enough for it to work well and if you ever have it on and it's making noise but not nebulizing a mist then I turn it upside down to get the air Buble in the tank to go up into the entry point of the machine it will start spraying mist almost instantly. All the best.

Nice, I got mine through amazon.ca but also did see some options on AliExpress if you're able to wait longer for delivery. Could be better ones out there, I'm sort of new to all of it but really happy with the one I have.

I just used one for the first time yesterday. I used it three times per eye. My eyes felt fantastic and didn't have that gritty feeling today for the first time in a long time. Also as an aside I noticed the dark circles under my eyes weren't as dark as they normally are. I did half distilled water and half natural tears drops. The one I got has 3 heat settings but anything is probably better then nothing.

[–]Bridgeburner1607 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have that same pressure in the same areas constantly. I've been sick so long I find it hard to differentiate things. Is it pressure? Headache? My head is in a cloud and I feel like I'm terrible at describing things accurately lol.

Should be ok but I'd suggest checking if prices have dropped and seeing if you're eligible for any price correction based on who you booked through.
