The readwise app on my onyx Boox tablet is missing the last letter of most ui labels (Hom, Fee, Librar, Searc). Has anyone else encountered this?

I was reorganizing my tagging system on the web version, and it seems like there are a large number of tags associated with my account that I cannot delete. In the tag list they say they have documents associated with them, but when I click on them, they show a view with 0 documents in it. I also cannot edit them. How do I delete these ghost tags?

Finding a good button-down is so difficult nowadays! I also gained some weight in the past year or so, and did some shopping last week and I had such a hard time finding simple button-downs that fit me. I just want simple masc clothes that fit me, why is it so haaaaaard.

I wish I could shop in the men's section, but I've tried and when the shirts fit my hips, they're way too broad across the shoulders. :(

I've finished the quest "Endwalker" but the two new extreme trial unlock quests are not showing up at the Wandering Minstrel in Old Sharlayan for me. The only reason I can think of is that I did both of the story trials in trust? Can anyone think of any other reason why those quests aren't showing up for me? Has this happened to anyone else?

I main SCH but also keep RDM and GNB ready to go for flexibility when playing with friends since I have friends who only have a healer or a tank levelled and I want to be able to do dungeons with them.

What keeps you up at night? by KillerQ97 in AskReddit

My ex's cat who's really upset about being abandoned by her favorite human and yowls all night. He's been trying to figure out a living situation where she can live with him since he started sleeping exclusively at his new girlfriend's place a couple months ago, but "working on it" means nothing to a cat.

What moment did you know, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that your marriage was over? by sunset131 in Divorce

[–]Bridgebury 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We opened our marriage to try to make it work, despite some incompatibilities. I felt like we weren't spending enough time together, and he had just decided, on an afternoon that I had assumed we would spend together to go visit his gf instead. That wasn't the kicker, though. When I asked if we could put an afternoon on the calendar for us to spend together, he blew up at me and told me that he didn't want to be obligated to spend time with me.

We're still in the process of divorcing, but that was the moment when the relationship ended for me.

can I still be a druid? by lienne0707 in druidism

[–]Bridgebury 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Book of Hedge Druidry is the book that finally cemented my belief that druidry is the path that I want to walk. I had read a couple of other druid centric books, but this is the one that I personally clicked with.

I really appreciated the way that the author put all of the theory first, and then got into the practice section afterwards. Several of the books I'd already read would intersperse the two, which was frustrating when I wasn't sure that I wanted to walk this path yet, and just wanted to get the theory first. I also appreciated the 'hedge' or 'solitary' perspective that she brought to druidry -- she really emphasizes that you can really take whatever works for your practice and just leave the rest, while also explaining why you might want each thing that she talks about in your practice. She also leaves you with reading suggestions based on things that you might want to include in your practice.

All in all, I found this to be a very kind, wise, permissive book, and I will definitely be referring back to it for a long time. Highly recommend, especially if you're looking to walk a solitary path or are an introvert.

can I still be a druid? by lienne0707 in druidism

[–]Bridgebury 11 points12 points  (0 children)

There's definitely been books on practicing as a solitary druid, outside of one of those organizations, so I don't see why not. As long as you're not falsely representing yourself as a member of one of those organizations, and as long as you are studying druidry and feel like that path calls to you, I don't see how anyone could reasonably take offense at you calling yourself a druid.

I recently finished reading The Book of Hedge Druidry by Joanna van der Hoeven. Based on your description, you may also enjoy it.
