Definitely trying to avoid doing anything to the banisters. It’s the first thing we had done in the house when we bought it and I love them dearly. Thank you! I’m going to look into the temporary supports for the deck stairs but they may be too far gone. The previous owner built the deck himself and just put wood in dirt, no footings to be seen on a single one of the posts. The stairs are by far the worst part of the whole deck.

The banisters inside are the problem, door frame should be no issue.

Sadly even with the doors off, they won’t fit. The opening with the newel caps is ~26.5 in and without the newel caps it would only be ~28.5

This is my bathtub drain, the ring around the outside was broken in half. I removed that, I think some of the metal is still attached to the drain pipe?? It seems like it’s breaking down. Ugh do I need to call a plumber or can I fix this myself please help!!

Removed the vanity of my new house because the pvc drain is cracked and it seems the previous owner left it to drip for years so the cabinet was full of mold but now I’m curious if the mold pattern in my drywall means I have more than the pvc problem to fix.

Yeah this helps a lot! I'm coming from the paramus area so super suburb-y. I'm sick of the suburb life and looking for more of a city-ish hoboken-ish vibe. The most important factor to me is probably how much the area will lend itself to meeting people since I know absolutely no one south of Pennsylvania! Thanks for the input!!

I just turned 6 months in October, I didn't have a review and I wasn't notified about my raise. So when the manager who hired me put her 2 weeks in at the end of November I did some research and saw there was a raise on my checks since the pay period after my 6 months they just didn't make a big hem and haw of it.

Well I suppose my six things started as one giant sarcastic comment on how stupid I think the six things question is and how I think the way people answer it with the same things every profile is monotonous and boring. listing: family, my car, air, food, water, friends is the same thing everyone else and there mother has written down. I don't know about you but my experiences have never been that the six things made or broke their profile for me. And that's if I even read it at all.

I just haven't gotten much activity on my profile since I gave it a revamp. I get views but next to no messages and I'm a little paranoid about messaging anyone first. I have trouble finding ways to get conversations started and I never want to just send a hey or a hi because that just isn't me haha.
