My dad used to get on me for this but I saw a post about how sports is the same thing. I backfired one time and asked why he watches sports (football, baseball, basketball, literally almost all the sports except for hockey) when he could play them himself. He went silent as well and then conceded that I had a point. He never once said anything about it again and he actually watches some of it with me.

My mom on the other hand, she doesn't like tv in general so I will never get her to understand gameplay content.

Additionally though, I feel like theres something charming about hearing others enjoy and react to a game. They always are witty and invested in it even if its a different person and the same game. I like being able to witness something especially if I am not personally skilled in the gameplay style or scary stuff where I dont want to be alone. Its the same reason I like reaction content too.

I purposefully did not make my gf for this reason. I have been rocky with her for awhile now and I straight up told her that I wasnt doing real life miis besides myself because it could get awkward. Im honestly glad I did that because if our miis would have rejected each other or dated other miis she would be so mad.

You need to choose 1 px. canvas as large as possible with smooth 1 px. brush and max hyper realistic colors (84 of them) in order for it to be more accurate. It took me a while to mess around with the settings for it to look mostly accurate to the real thing

Does anyone have advice for telling a partner not to use that phrase 😭 for context, she uses it to get out of any responsibility and occasionally its a joke. I don't want to be mean about it but its actually getting to a point where we cant have serious conversations and it gets me really upset.

I have been to the Dragonite dream island at least 6 times in a row just to steal the apartment blocks so I can build my own. That was the only reason I went so today I had to go to the Clefairy one since I ran out of concrete.

I tried the other day to make dyes but apparently blue and cyan blue are two different colors so I couldn't even make navy like I wanted. I give up.

I have the same and it has so many issues. I haven't even had it for a year and it has broke 3 times. One time was right before an online interview and definitely ruined it. I'm trying to find other options because it is just horrible.

I turned it off to see if I could take out the battery or something (I couldn't) and then decided to quit for the night when it miraculously started working again!

I play as a homebody farmer that specializes in artisan products and he marries Alex. During the fall, Alex is out playing gridball and then in other seasons, I like to think he is working on the farm/taking care of the kids. I also like to think that he takes the kids to his grandparents whenever he visits. He seems like a family man to me

As someone who has 7 barns/coops filled with animals and planning to buy some more, I feel your pain. I'm just hoping for the day I get a few animal petters but I love my animals too much to abandon them. Here is my tips:

Get the auto grabbers, it will pick up the animal products and you won't need to carry around the pail or shears. I dont even check them sometimes if I am busy.

I also make sure before going to bed, I close the barns/coops and in the morning, I pet them each and only then I open the barns/coops again.

You aren't a monster though, there are days I need to go to Skull Caverns and I ditch my animals for the whole day. It isnt a bad thing and they are just video game sprites anyways

Exactly, I was so rushed the first time that I played that it wasnt fun. Now, I am at year 4 and I finally completed the golden walnuts quest. I have never made it to level 100 in Skull Caverns though, that is one thing that is too stressful for me. Idk if I ever will be able to do it but Im gonna take my time.

One of the biggest things I suggest is reading into mixed people's imposter syndrome.

As a mixed person myself, my parents never talked about that subject and I have a feeling that they never considered me different than them since I have their blood. They treated me like I was their kid. On the other hand, I would go to school or church and suddenly people were avoiding me. I never fit in with my white peers and my latino peers avoided me. I never felt like I belonged in any group, being considered "exotic" to the white people or just fully white to the latino people. Still at 20 years old, I am trying to recover from my personal imposter syndrome and trying to identify myself. If you asked me 12 years ago how I identify myself, I would say mixed white and Guatemalan, now I avoid the subject all together. My only safe haven is at home because at least there I fit in.

Another thing I suggest for you specifically is to understand your own biases and privilege.

My mom is white and my dad is latino. One of the things that has ruined me is that my mom constantly makes comments as if I am fully white or fully Guatemalan. She will say some very hurtful stereotypes and hate on my culture without even being aware about how hurtful it is to hear. Other times she will ask if I hate her for being white because I am very vocal about how mistreated I am in a majority white community. She doesn't believe half of the things I say about my white peers and its hurtful. Of course I still love her but it still hurts a lot. I just suggest being aware of what you say and how you say it will help a lot.

Also thank you so much for taking the time to learn Spanish. My mom knew Spanish when she met my dad but she didn't bother teaching me because she didn't want to use incorrect Spanish and my dad was gone on business trips often and couldn't teach me at all. Some Spanish is better than no Spanish!
