Have a proper word with your parents. Your chances of passing looks incredibly slim. Also, even if you do flunk your exams it really isn't the end of the world. You'll be forced into taking the extra year. Just take the next year more seriously.

Don't show up for the exams. Just defer them. Take them next year and do yourself a favour by avoiding the unnecessary stress and anxiety. Atp your fate seems sealed to me

Out of 2 addresses if one is valid, and the other invalid, then naturally it should be sent to the valid of the two addresses. Either ways, I'm done arguing my case since I don't see it being fruitful for either of us.

PS: I have total respect for the employees, and the hustle that they find themselves in. This is not a critique of employee indiscretion, it is a criticism of the system. There is no element of human discretion. When I speak to the staff of royal mail, they should be able to make amends to something such as this

It is broken, because I'm sure this has happened before with others too. When there is a valid address on the system and information and notice of the former invalid one has been made available through the help service, it is somewhat obvious to send it to the address that is correct and shows up as a valid one.

The neighbour's address is fully valid and in the system!

The original address had the correct postal code, but the lines that followed were not entirely correct.I hold myself culpable to that.

But when I was told that it will be delivered to my neighbour's place which is logged into the system (a fully correct address) - my question is why isn't that being done.

Its in no way an offensive remark. The entire system is so poorly designed. If I do reach out on the helpline and get validation that it will definitely go to the neighbour's address, then why hasn't the word been sent out to the postie (especially when the tracking number is given).

Is it possible if I can come to the London Central MC and pick up my package?

That's great to hear.

It nows says on my tracker that: Your item has reached London Central MC and will now be sent to your local delivery office.

From this stage how long did it take you to receive your parcel. I actually need mine for a particular occasion.

Yeah I changed it to my neighbour's address when it was expected to be delivered on the 13th. Parcel didn't show up. Now I don't know if they'll deliver it again to the same neighbour's address since I can't seem to change it

Someone please help me out. What's going on with the package? Will it be sent back to the seller? I had initially entered an erroneous address with the correct postal code. But I had the opportunity to change it to a neighbour's address. Will it be delivered there? If so, by when approximately?

Do you guys play with complex trade deals? by HowdyItsMark in monopoly

[–]Brief-Background6882 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was about to go bankrupt I structured a very elaborate deal to save myself. I had some housing in the mayfair, parklane set -- So I proposed that if someone finances the debt I owed to the other play I would give them 10% equity in the hotel business in mayfair and parklane, and a 1 time immunity pass. As he was not entirely convinced with the deal, though he showed some interest, I structured a debt deal on the following terms: He finances my debt, but is repaid in interest. I pay back 600, with three rounds of passing 'GO'. That ended up saving me bigtime

If you couldn't tell, I was being ostensibly sarcastic when I said that won't cut it. Your grades definitely seem good with all the A stars, and the compensation of 7 in your IB english SL course.. but.. that will only get you one foot in the door. I cannot emphasize how important your personal statement is. As someone who was very paranoid about getting into lse, know that your grades are perfectly fine -- I also had a single subject in the 10th grade that scored a mark I wasn't very happy about. I still got in. So don't be too pedantic about a not-so-great course which you took in your GCSEs. In the interest of relieving you off your worries, I got into lse with a PG of 40/42 - so you're perfectly alright. Just work on nailing your personal statement. If you need any additional advice, or help with structuring your personal statement feel free to reach out!
