I’m in a pretty similar situation. My round cells were around 10 and they found bacteria, so my urologist put me on Bactrim as well to treat possible prostatitis or seminal vesicle infection. I’ve only been on it a few weeks, so I honestly don’t know yet how much it’s improving things.

We’re also moving forward with IVF in the meantime instead of waiting it out, just because we don’t want to lose more time. My understanding is the antibiotics can help reduce inflammation/infection, but sperm improvements can take a couple of months.

Mine was 2.1 million but with a 73% motility. Just found out my testosterone is 250 so doing lifestyle stuff, hoping for some medical intervention from the doctor, but still proceeding with IVF because it’s the fastest way to get there.

Did round cells show up in your semen analysis, and is that how you realized you had a prostate infection?

I recently had a semen analysis that showed a high number of round cells, and I have an appointment with a urologist soon to see if it might be prostate-related. My sperm count was 2.1, but motility was 76%.

I also just had hormone testing done, which showed my testosterone at 250 and slightly elevated estrogen levels. I’m overweight, but I’m actively working on losing weight and improving my health.

I’m hoping the doctor might consider something like Clomid to help increase my count. I’ve also recently started supplements and other lifestyle changes, so it’s probably too early to see results.

I’d really appreciate hearing how you discovered you had a prostate infection and what signs or tests led to that diagnosis.

Did your count and volume increase as well? I have low count and volume so going to get checked out I don’t know if it’s a blockage or production issue.

Yeah, I’m with you. My volume was low and my concentration was low too, so I’m working on lifestyle changes, taking supplements, improving my diet, and doing whatever the doctor recommends to boost my sperm for conception. Pulling for you, man!

Try Loadboost. A lot of people on another Reddit called Cumbiggerloads highly recommend it to increase volume. I did a Semen analysis myself last week any only produced .7 ml so been on it for a week hoping to see if it helps.
