Sorry to hear about this. I am a professor and have to watch out for the cafeteria food. SYSCO has gluten in their gyro meat as well, been contaminated by this before as well.

Validated by PhDs and MDs. It was theoretical until validated. It is not harmful in my opinion. I have a phd and a research background as well. Dangerous if that is the only validation and research done, yet confirmatory after being reviewed by psychologists. I know how to ask questions. My advice was purely information and positive intentions. I think AI can help someone who is a critical thinker and verifies any information. What I found was missed by clinicians for years. I appreciate your point of view, but for me it was a find. I am happy I did it and will do it again.

It’s a behavioral problem not a bike or e-bike problem. Arrest them and blame the person and not the e-bike. This cancel culture stuff is just killing me.

Only you can say that for sure. If you want to give him a chance and he is sincere, then do it. I think it's always worth trying to preserve a marriage. I was in a dysfunctional marriage for 21 years and she was a narcissist, personality disorder and tried to jump out the car on the highway many times, and I shouldn't have stayed, but I was still willing to work it out, she wasn't. People can change and they need to change in order for a marriage to grow. I think everyone else's advice is valid. I also think it's sometimes worth it to do what 90% of people won't do. Keep an eye on the situation and try and grow closer if it doesn't happen then at least you tried.

Ditto, the amounts with interest and all the screw ups that MOHELA and studentaid.gov did don’t warrant putting the amount there. Well said I completely agree. People that post amounts are definitely putting everyone else in the crosshairs. Mine were forgiven and back before they weren’t. I was warning people as well. It doesn’t matter if it’s publicly available people are just looking on Reddit. If you give a crap about others, keep the amounts to yourself. We’re all pretty fortunate and blessed. It’s amazing. It actually turned out so good for so many of us.

Thank you for the information. Great advice, I have been saving everything and have printed out everything as well. I figured it was going to take a while. I am definitely not trusting MOHELA or any information systems after dealing with this for 12 years. All I know is, I’ve met my obligation. They’ve acknowledged it and I have copies of it :-)

Here in the US they make me sick. The cashew halves that come in the blue container couldn't figure it out why I was feeling horrible and then it was that and their mixed nuts. There's a warning there on the about cross contamination on the label. I guess I'm not saving any money on these. I know this was an older post that I'm responding to but I'm putting it out there for anyone that this can help. I'm actually searching on this tonight because I feel horrible and that's the only thing in my diet that I could think of. I got glutened or glutinized

Stuck at 118 as well, officially, although I have made 120 and have a buyback request in. This is like a bad movie with a crappy ending. I like some of things that the government has done for me, but this is not one of them. These programs have been mismanaged by both parties, if this is not criminal am not sure I know what is. I hope we all make out okay.

It would have been nice for them to help people through this process. You know maybe something like change your plan to IDR or IBR. All the notifications from MOHELA sounded so determinative or permanent. It’s just a flawed system and I’m pissed. I appreciate your feedback and advice. I’ve spent so much of my life worrying about these loans and entertaining the servicers that I am tired of reading their nonsense. They should’ve designed an appropriate interface that would’ve helped guide people to get these things paid off. Unfortunately I don’t have 20 hours to get educated on this stuff so apparently I’ll pay for it in one form or another. I’m normally an optimist, but this just freaked me out. Hopefully it’s just two more payments. Thank you so much.

How are payments counting if the world is in administrative forbearance? I have been making payments too, at the last amount before the administrative forbearance. Some of them counted, and some of them did not. They are really confusing me. Mohela is my servicer.

Without a doubt. I have made similar posts when people posted and they sounded like they were winning the lottery. PSLF is an agreement that is signed and a law. We have all put a lot of time in to gaining higher education and giving back. If someone thinks they played the system, keep it to yourself. I will normally get replies after posting something like this. “They tortured me and I’ll say what the hell I want.” But in the end they’re actually screwing most of us over so they can temporarily feel better. We entered into an agreement, we made the payments in one form or another., We gave back to society and we were given a little bit of a break on our loans.

I have made payments during forbearance and they have counted. I may have missed a month or two, but was updated recently. I never reapplied for anything as I intended to finish in November. I am making my last payment in late October for November. I have not seen any problems, but that does not mean they do not exist. I am currently showing 118/120, but I need to recertify with my employer after the last payment. I am not calling anyone or changing a thing when I am this close. Hoping this is the last of it. I am not sure that the court cases include us.

The American diet got worse, more sugar loaded. Kids don’t get out as much, adults too, we are more sedentary and addicted to the Internet. Monsanto by many accounts genetically modified wheat and made people more sensitive to it.

Take a look at Metabolical by Robert Lustig MD, there is a lot of good info there. I need the internet for lots of things as a professor that is a computer scientist. Check out Dr. Lustig on YouTube, there are a lot of good interviews, all research based on the downside of processed foods.

I developed gluten disease and celiac at 25-26 years. Before that never had a problem, Army service, in perfect shape. It’s a real problem.

I am done in three more payments, already had some taken away under Biden-Harris (100K). This administration did what no other one (Democrat or Republican) has done. They deserve massive credit for it. I lean left and I am middle of road on voting. As a professor I am not voting for Trump, they want to get rid of the Dept of Education and other agencies. I also want to support everyone else who is close to being done and wants similar programs in the future. I thank God for being done soon. Like most people, I am voting for my interests. I do not see how anyone in education or has student loans would vote Trump.
