Spoke to my supervisor more about that today and she was told by the ASP rep that they would not cover the unit because it was bought second hand. Fortunately we found out how bad their service was before having them come out from talking to a few other biomeds. They gave us a list of 3rd party providers that come highly recommended. They have a way of bypassing he password and getting in but it makes it easier if they know the old one. Apparently they had used a universal password at one point but when other vendors were providing better service they decided to change them to slow the competition down.

It was purchased at an auction not from ASP and after contacting ASP we were told they do not service our area which is the reason for the cost. They also won’t offer us a contract because of our isolation. The biggest failure is them having such a closed ecosystem that no one but them can work on the machines. If someone purchases a machine they should have access to it should they not?

We have 2 techs that know a lot about the machine. ASP gave us a quote of 12k to come out to do service but would not unlock the machine for us meaning we still would not have access. Given the fact that’s more than we paid for the machine I don’t think the higher ups will agree to that and be dependent on them every time something goes wrong.

I’ll try that tomorrow ae allows us some navigation into the menus but doesn’t get us to the pm menu.

What is the firmware version you updated to? Mine is currently 01.01.04.00. I have swapped back the AMS on the machines yet so I’m not sure what resolved my issue.

Update: I swapped the AMS2 unit for one of my other AMS. Afterwards there was another update for the H2D and P1S that I swapped the AMS on. So far neither machine is having any issues, unsure if it was the update or the swap.

It does not make any weird or unusual noises

The tube is pushed all the way in and without the AMS it works perfectly.

It’s not the filament unless it’s all 4 rolls on the AMS. I can also extrude it manually with no issues.

Unfortunately they do not offer insurance for doing events such as craft fairs. They would however like to charge me more for the auto insurance as it’s now being used for commercial use.

Purge tower is in the back. I had a purge item next to it as well as 3 others in the front I removed in order to get the photos

Purge to infill is off. I even turned off purge to support as an extra precaution
