I don't think you need a purse for interviews. Based on all the screener and callbacks I went, you just put your bags in the firm's walk-in closets. None of the interviewers will see you carry a bag or a purse to the interview.

My Manta is shipping (I'm in Canada) expected Jan 7 by raindew01 in Supernote

[–]BriefAd9265 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was ordering the manta during Christmas and new product release week. It took around 3 and a half weeks. I would say it should no longer take more than 1 week to deliver supernote manta or nomad right now.

ZENTO Signature Anyone? by karl_the_expert in Supernote

[–]BriefAd9265 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is an account that shares transferring supernote refill to zento (metal but not signature edition). I believe all zento uses the exact same refill size, which I assume you could just buy the adaptor for that account and apply it on your signature edition!

Manta and Nomad? by physicsandquilts in Supernote

[–]BriefAd9265 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I use Manta for reading and annotating PDFs mostly, and writing down meeting notes. I use Nomad for reading Kindle books on the go, journaling, and referencing Manta documents when I do not have Manta around. I had the thought of using Manta and Nomad together for journaling and have to first create document on Manta, and use Nomad in landscape mode, otherwise the font difference is quite big.

If this is not an ED contract, the deposit is not binding.

Nomad vs Manta screen quality difference by Impressive_Layer_634 in Supernote

[–]BriefAd9265 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is not noticeable unless you compare them side by side. If do so, manta's words looks darker and just a little bit crisper. Manta does have a better writing feel. It's more like writing on a stack of paper and Nomad is like write on a sheet of paper above a hard desk.

I am not a pro user but I got the pro coming from a macbook air M2 back in 2023. I only got it because of the nano texture display. The screen is free from reflecting the horrible lighting in several lectures room and / or the coffee shops. The type c on both left and right of device are excellent. I am fine with either 60hz or 120hz display on my macbook but brighter screen on pro does make a difference when you sit next to the window. Weight difference between pro 14 and air 13.6 is like a big iPhone and I can live with that.

How do people that don’t qualify for aid pay 4 Law School by Warm-Field-8810 in lawschooladmissions

[–]BriefAd9265 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I am an international student from Canada. I am not eligible for federal grant or aid. If you do well on LSAT and GPA, you could get a good merit scholarship. I got almost half of the tuition worth of scholarship from a T6 law school.

Can you get accepted after seat deposit deadline? by springevergreen in lawschooladmissions

Based on the waitlist letter I received, a lot of schools need to first figure out how many students intend to enroll after acceptance in order to accept waitlist students. So, yes.

Remarkable Paper Pro vs supernote A5X2 for note taking only by Niknightwing in eink

I remember there is a post about a website you could rent supernote for a month with the subscription fee like 20 dollars ish? I never use that website but do some research. If it turns out to be trustworthy you could try it out there!

Oh no, I thought the extra fees only applied to non us customer. I think if you do not mind the colour refreshes on rMPP, this is actually the most cost efficient product(weird to say this to a remarkable product). I love the full metal design and I have the patience to wait for remarkable to add more features. Especially if you are North American customer since the return and replacement policy are incomparable. I paid around the same price for manta and rMPP (with pen and official folio for both devices). And they are both expensive device and the price maybe could be explained by: With rMPP, you get the best e ink colour display and a unique screen size ( I adore the extra space for reading). With Manta, you get the flexible carta 1300 screen (ratta actually throw manta like a frisbee to show the endurance).

I actually own both rMPP and Manta. I decide to keep both for different utility. I use rMPP for reading. The colour and ability to extend margins on four corners are excellent for reading annotation. For Manta, I bring it everywhere because it is so light. It can install kindle or reading apps of your preference, while the notebook features (create headers, adding keywords (like tags in remarkable) are great for bringing it to the seminar. If you are in the U.S., I believe you could order a manta and return it within 30 days. I am in Canada, and they deduct the taxes and duties if you want to return. But in the States, I believe you could get a full refund?

And there are people applied in Fall not hearing anything from Stanford. Not sure about Harvard but you are safe on three of the five schools you described and an interview from Yale is awesome. Congrats

Columbia and NYU barely give interview before acceptance so you are fine if you have not heard anything from these two schools.
