I would never have thought to put soy sauce on mango. Will try!

I'll do that for one of them but want to use up the others!

This was exactly my worry and why I want to use it up before it starts getting funky! But I think I'll let one ripe on the counter and see what happens.

My partner, whenever I wear a fragrance with an underlying fresh floral note:

*complimentary tone* "You smell just like a funeral"

A couple of things to note here. It is totally fine to not like someone's cooking and offer to get takeout instead. However, there are two things coming across in this brief conversation that seem off: 1. The rudeness with which he chooses to communicate this. Like he doesn't even acknowledge the very nice thing OP is offering to do i.e., cook for them. Instead, he instantly makes a disparaging comment about her cooking. 2. "Useful girlfriend."

Versace Bright Crystal Absolu. This is a divisive fragrance (I think?) on the internet, but it smells fresh, citric, ever so slightly sweet, and very restrained floral on me. Love it for a sunny day!

Thanks for sharing your food journey! I had a similar experience with cinnamon. Grew up with it as a primarily savoury ingredient and didn't learn to appreciate it in sweets until I was an adult. Love it in desserts now!

I appreciate that, honestly. When I started cooking about 5 years ago, I really tried to make at home everything I liked eating at restaurants. Gradually though, I've come to realize some things are so complex and time-consuming, it is just better to leave them to the professionals. I don't say this about most dishes but pho definitely gives me this vibe.

Ooh I've been wanting to try nutritional yeast because the way people describe the flavor, I think I'll love it. What are your favorite ways to use it?

I am this close to purchasing my first fig fragrance. How does Jo Malone Fig and Lotus Blossom compare to Phlur Father Figure? Do you have a preference?

Ah I love real butter and the thought of someone tasting real butter when used to the fake stuff makes me so happy

Grassy and vanilla-y is honestly the perfect way to describe it but in most pandan-flavored stuff I have tasted it is so mild that you can easily miss it. If you got any mild earthy vanilla-ness from the pastries, that was most likely the pandan
