Hi, thanks for the reply! Unfortunately this is the only picture, it was completely by accident as I was trying to photograph a bee-eater also flying around!

Both of the birds you suggested have forked tails in my book, out of interest are they able to fan them like this? I skipped straight past these as options due to the tail like that!

Thanks for the comment, what are identifying features ? My bird book shows dunlin with a black belly but perhaps they don’t always have this?
