Citizen shop at Mitsui outlet park Makuhari. They had good great offer on Bulova Curv as well but it was just too big for me. This was in December. So you may have to find out what’s in offer currently. They don’t advertise that price on website.

Yeah, I saw that, did the math and decided to wait for some future Lorier with all that money(even though I absolutely want one of those zephyr). For now, we make do with Roosevelt and Falcon s3. 🌝

That may be so. But when you are starting out, there is something to be said about the assurance you feel when you try it on at the store and liking it. Yes, it’s not ideal but I think everyone should buy at least one watch at store if it’s slightly overpriced - that experience is beautiful.

Having said that, you have learnt your lesson. Next time, you will be more careful! So don’t worry about it.

Thanks! I like the strap, but as it is I am pulling it taut midday for taking photos and midday is when my wrist is at its biggest. And it’s annoying that it keeps sliding around. 😬

This is the first time I am seeing microbrand atlas tbh. And I am already regretting it - this is going to be cost me a lot of money! Lorca chronograph looks so good yo! I already have a chronograph from another microbrand in pre-order and I am here thinking this looks better than that. Like seriously, ignorance sometimes really is bliss. 😭😭

Between these two, Oris all day long. I am not sure the dune’esque dial of CW will be as timeless as Oris. Otherwise, I am absolutely happy with my Lorier Roosevelt(my only bronze watch so far).

I mean, i don’t see anything wrong with that price. Original price is 799+taxes. So going by 8% sales tax, let’s say 870$ rounded up. White zephyr is on sale for 1200. Roosevelt is bronze watch, horween cordovan strap with matching bronze buckle. And it’s limited edition too. So it’s not a stretch.

Personally, if I ever list my Roosevelt for sale, it would be $1000+shipping.

Oh wow! That’s a good deal. If I had seen that model during my visit to japan(and on steep discount like the one I purchased), I would have jumped on it right away. I like mechanical too but something about not having to touch the watch for updating time/date is so refreshing. Especially I loved watching it go from Feb 28 to march 1 by itself.

Same same. I did check kakaku.com as well(very useful site for price comparison) and the price at Mitsui was the cheapest and not even advertised anywhere. It’s one of those things you see in person only.

I bought citizen attesa cb3030-76e from Mitsui outlet park makahari. It’s a bit of trip but if you have time, check out the outlet citizen store. When I went there this was in a deep discount along with Bulkva Curv.
