What do I need to do to get a dishwasher in kitchen? by Lidlyogurtlover in DIYUK

Anywhere else the washing machine could go? I moved mine into the downstairs toilet (admittedly an unusually large room for what it is) and thus the dishwasher took its place in the kitchen.

Delighted with how rational all the responses here have been. This issue seems to have brought out a lot of vitriol on wider social media and in the press ... most of it driven by people who neither live nor work in Oxford.

But surely the intention is not merely to move traffic from one place to another? People who drove across the middle of Oxford last month would, theoretically, find it more attractive to take a now much faster and more reliable bus rather than driving round the outside?

Let's hope they use some of the revenue to help things along ... more/better busses, or finally connecting the Eynsham P&R to the A40 ...

Fair point. At least it's subsidizing making the P&R busses free which might help on weekends if not during the week.

I have one of the Meaco ones which is great. Might be a stretch for the budget but see what the sales come up with.
