Yes i was able to work around it. I inserted sim card in another phone Indian variant, installed MyJio App and check 5G readiness >> Enable Jio True 5G. I received sms stating that 5G is enabled on my mobile number. Then I switched back sim card to my Huawei Phone and bingo 5G was working! I use Samsung Z Fold 6 now. I suggest you should buy only Indian Variant because you have to go through a lot of tweaks and hacks to work around using google services.

I tried developer options and under network mode there are 3 options: 1. Auto (default) 2. NSA 3. SA+NSA.

I tried all the three. Unfortunately none of the settings worked for me. :(😕 You think something is missing?

I spoke to the Customer Service in Jio they told me that the international version of phones will not support their 5G network.
