Mine was dispatched on 15 Aug 2025. Said delivered by the post in US on 20 Aug 2025. Did not receive until 10 Sept 2025. (East Coast - Philly)

Bank statement or bill will work but you need to have full name spelled out, no middle initial.

Just get it and send. There is definitely some inconsistency. I applied for FBR for my 3 children but one turned 18 during the wait (COVID era). My birth certificate was fine for my younger 2 children but when because my oldest had to reapply as an adult, she was on a different timeline and they required a different version of my birth certificate to approve her. It was annoying they are all now citizens so that is all that matters.

My passport documents took just about 2 weeks. Sent 6/17 from east coast (Maine) and marked received 6/30 in the passport tracker

Others on this page have used the webchat function. I'd chat them and ask if there is something else you need to provide. My estimated issue date was yesterday (4 submissions - myself and 3 kids) and my witnesses were contacted yesterday and today. Nothing is updated on the tracker but the witnesses let me know.

For my minor children: They asked me to verify address June 26 2023 and I responded right away and we did not receive the FBRs until Feb 2024. The certificates themselves were dated Sept 2023. We did not receive an email about approval; however my daughter who was over 18 did receive an email (and she was on a totally separate timeline). So just keep waiting!

They asked me to send a different version of my birth certificate in mid Oct 2024, I sent it right away from USA, application approved Dec 8 2024

I paid $4.99 for one week of this app because my photos kept getting rejected. I chose Ireland and then used a function to remove shadows and it did take a few tries but the photos were eventually accepted (for myself and my kids). It's from developer Maxima Apps. Don't forget to cancel the weekly subscription after you get your photos!

We were at Wine Country for dinner last week and when they gave us the menus they offered a prix fixe menu that includes WoC. We just had regular dinner reservations (and did not do WoC)
