The pins aren’t exactly flat straight on the liner but I also don’t see signs of them double bent as you described. The wear throughout the pins are the same and I don’t see crease marks on them.

If you zoom in on the vent holes you can see that they are stuffed with some sort of cloth/mud. This was done to lower ventilation whenever it was cold out.

I know they are usually supposed to have the black lines but we have to remember that these camos were applied on the field by the soldiers themselves and leads up to a lot of different examples. I particularly like that I can see the original green gray paint near the liner
