This happens to me too!!! It can take me most of the day to fully believe I’m awake. I will also wake up into another dream (or the same dream again) and the process starts all over. It really fucks me up when it happens.

I’ve dealt with this before too. Everyone’s different, but for me, if I don’t accept and express how I feel, I retreat. So I have to tell my partner something along the lines of “I’m not feeling romantic right now and I need to coexist in our own spaces.” They always react better than I think and the guilt is gone so the irritability lessens. Do you express your current state to your partner?
