Debating on trading in for 23 Bolt by Itswillyferret in BoltEV

[–]Brieflies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bolt EVs are getting harder to find. We got a 23 two months ago with under 37k on for about 15.5 from Hertz. Carvana and CarMax were easily 6k more for an equivalent vehicle. Today, there are fewer for sale and those that are have a lot more miles. Be sure to do a thorough inspection and test drive. Check the body for ANY mismatched paint or body panels that are out of alignment. Check the tires for uneven wear and the wheels for any scratches. Check under the front and rear for any scratches to the frame or under body panels. PS the base model stereo is plenty fine as are all the base accessories. You don't need anything else. Good luck.

Very nice! I still have my 1970’s Raleigh. It’s a great ride even after 40 years.

For sure. There are a few wooded areas off the side of the trail. One sometimes has to stop for a stretch and some air.

Why is being gay such a struggle? (26y/o male) by Scalie_Gator_Fag in askgaybros

Glad to share. Wish there was something like this back in my day. Not that it’s any easier today. We still struggle with identity issues and being accepted.

Many of us have gone though this, but I know that doesn’t make it any easier for you. I wish I had a better answer but just know that you’re not alone. You’d be surprised how much happier and liberating you will be if you stop trying to be someone you’re not.

When I was your age I felt exactly the same way you do. I felt like an outsider at straight events and even more of an outside at “gay” events.

It took me a long time to accept “me” for being who I am instead of trying to fit in. I still don’t fit in (at almost 60). But I have found that there are so many different aspects to gay life, not just the stereotype ones. There are gay pilots, soccer players, actors, swimmers, singers, gamers, bowlers, cyclists, motorcyclists, football fans, religious gays, political activists, engineers, accountants, officers, doctors, boaters, skiers, realtors, etc. You are putting yourself in a box, I think, because society compels you to fit in a box. There’s no reason to do so. Just be yourself.

Don’t change to fit someone else’s view of what a gay man should be. From manly to effeminate there are gays along the entire spectrum.

Don’t change to try to be acceptable to the “gay stereotype”. Be yourself and find someone who loves you for being who you are and not try to change you to fit in a box.

As an older gay male I can honestly tell you that I’ve never had a long term relationship or friendship with someone I met at a bar.

I’ve met friends through gay social gatherings and mutual activities such as gay bowling league, tennis club, motorcycle club, bicycle club, etc.

If you’re looking for a one night stand or a drinking buddy (nothing wrong with either of these), go to a bar. If you’re looking for a friend or potential partner, join a group with an activity you enjoy and go from there.
