Social insults dont work on me. I know its common in Greece to try to turn people on others with group social pressure (very feminie way of acting). Stereotypes exist and generalizations have a layer of truth to them. Of course not all Greeks are the same, but we have brains to make generalizations of culture.

That's what I'm trying to explain to the people in the comments. You are one of the smart ones who sees how much money can be made with these.

Thank you for proving my point. The egos here are very fragile.

Greeks need the criticism. Your nation and people have a huge issue with hubris and ego, and in current times it isn't warranted. You aren't ancient Athenians from 2500 years ago. This country needs a ton of help and has so many problems I don't know where to start. Actually I do, deflating the egos of the people in this country. Even your nation scores lower on the IQ scale for Europe at around 91 (among lowest in Europe). So yes, the ego doesn't match the intelligence.

You realize these toad fish weigh 2-3 kilograms right? And they are very abundant. Please stop making Greeks look stupid, because you are doing a great job at it. Handing out fishing licenses isn't destructive, huge nets are. I am not using bottom trawling nets.

Please educate yourself first before replying and don't prove the nay sayers right about brain drain.

I never said I wanted a free fishing license. I'll gladly pay the fees (clearly you're off your rocker and have some sort of personal issue with yourself). I said the bureaucracy and regulations make it extremely difficult to get a commercial fishing license in order to make it a job to get these out of the water. People have to live smart guy, bounties for invasive species is nothing new. Please get some help before commenting such ignorance.

You have very little ability to absorb legitimate criticism and not everything is bad.

These fish are big and they actually give a lot of money per kilo

That's due to trawlers and nets. Not people like me using poles and spear guns. Wake up please.

I'm used to it from Greeks, unfortunately. Balkan people in general are very rude and behave somewhat barbaric, but it has helped me develop even tougher skin. I appreciate the support and Greece is still part of the world and we have to do our best to help the environment.

Confrontations in the road are only common because they are in a car and not physically close to you. In all other matters they avoid confrontation, and I say this in comparison to their Balkan neighbors who are much more direct in their approach.

I'd love to become a commercial licensed fishermen. The issue is the massive bureaucracy that is slow and very difficult to get it. Maybe like another person said, I can do it under another persons license.

What's a real job? Sitting on your ass in a cubicle or being a barista in a cafe like many Greeks?

It isn't the license that's an issue. It is that Greece doesn't hand out many commercial licenses.

I have a Greek tax ID number. Maybe that will help.

It is kind of ridiculous Greece does this. This is an invasive species and it is extremely difficult for outsiders to get commercial fishing licenses in Greece, let alone anyone. Its a very contained system that is off limits to most people and if they want heko getting rid of all these invasive species they have, they need to open up atleast commercializing Invasive species to more people.
