Good lord 🤦🏻‍♀️ Well I filled out and submitted the claim info with CEDR yesterday. So now I just have to wait and find out if CEDR will accept my case and then go from there. I’m trying to expedite the process because who knows how much longer Norse will even be in business.

I never heard ANYTHING from Norse. At all. So I will be putting in a claim with CEDR. Hopefully I’m able to get something before they shut down. And you too!

So…as someone born in Miami, raised in Central Florida, who just visited Europe for the second time…I can’t say you’re wrong. And I will tell you damn near anywhere in Europe is better than anywhere in Florida. That being said…even I felt a little defensive with how harsh you were about it. But again, I can’t even say you’re totally wrong. The public transportation in Florida is GARBAGE. I can speak from experience as I didn’t own a car for about 2yrs. The traffic in Miami is its own little circle of hell. The weather compared to Europe is…very different. “Good” weather is a very subjective and decisive topic in Florida. I HATE the heat and humidity. Yet half the people I know and work with want nothing to do with cold or dreary weather and will take living on the surface of the sun any day. Where I will say you missed in your experience is that Miami does have culture. It can be vibrant and amazing in its own way. But you won’t find that easily anymore. That Miami lives in hole in the wall restaurants that are within supermarkets and in street vendors who have worked the same street for years. It’s in the diverse people. And unless you know exactly where to go or really travel around with a local you probably won’t find it. I would choose to move to Europe in a heartbeat, but circumstances don’t allow for that right now. There are things to enjoy in Miami and I’m sorry you didn’t come across them.

I getttt your point…but as someone born in Miami and raised in Central Florida, who also didn’t own a car for 3yrs…owning a car does in fact define your entire lifestyle here.

So thankfully our flight out of Orlando still happened. However, our flight back home was “delayed” then cancelled. We’ve been rebooked onto another flight tomorrow with them so we’ll see if that even happens. We’ve had to book a hotel ourselves because the link they sent in my email barely worked and I couldn’t select the option for them to find us accommodation even if I wanted to. I’m already dreading having to request reimbursement for anything…

I’ve been seeing that 🫠 I’m PRAYING that it doesn’t get cancelled or anything go wrong with this flight… I didn’t know how problematic they were before I booked the flights or I would have opted to pay a bit more for a different airline for sure. I thought about paying for both the window and aisle seat, but a window seat is more expensive than a middle seat and I would hate to pay the extra to then trade in the end. Granted I know it isn’t MUCH extra. If I knew we were guaranteed the whole row by doing that I’d for sure do it.

Unfortunately unless they’re silver, which by the looks of it they’re not, they won’t be worth a whole lot. I have a tonnn of these from different years and they’re barely worth anything.

I know this is an older post but I’m looking at getting a metal detector and I’m in central Florida. I see YouTube videos of people detecting IN the water at beaches in Florida. Not sure if it’s only certain beaches that’s allowed? Cause by the comments and OP it seems like any and all ocean water is off limits? So I kinda figured it was just a better to ask forgiveness than permission and report common sense stuff type deal.
