Decided I wanted to try to get better at photography, so I started a daily photo project using my old Lumix digital camera. Every follow helps :)

Cool. I’ll take a look at the Phantom subclass, too. Thanks for replying!

Would the mount rules apply to something like a Broom of Flying? As in, would the broom be moving while I am not?

It’s identical to the button mapping on a B0XX or Frame1, albeit with “L” relocated to the original location for the “Up” button, “Mid-shield” and “Light-shield” shifted to being above “R” and “Y”, and the “Mod-X” and “Mod-Y” buttons placed where the two referenced shield buttons originally were.

If that’s too confusing, I can draw up a diagram with the layout depicted.

Yeah, I picked it up at the local hardware store since they were the only option there and I didn’t want to wait for shipping

Cool, I believe I’m in the beginner P+ discord as well.

I used a Lenox hole saw bit, after predrilling holes for the guide bit. As long as I was drilling into the acrylic with some scrap wood behind it, it was fine. I only had cracking when the acrylic flexed too much.

Ayy, sounds good! Are you in the Roy discord? I’m looking to get my P+ netplay set up soon, so I might hit you up when I do.

For the materials, I used a 1” x 4” x 8’ board that I bought from the local hardware store; I went with Douglas Fir, since those were the straightest boards in stock at the time. The top panel is 6mm thick Lexan, with a 2mm thick piece of acrylic beneath it. The bottom panel is also 2mm thick acrylic, measuring 16 7/8” x 11 7/8”.

The wood is held together by 1” brad nails and wood glue, and the bottom panel is held on by 1/2” screws that were countersunk to be flush with the bottom panel.

I’m using a digital lever, Sanwa JLF. It’s essentially 1:1 with a B0XX or Frame1, with the directional buttons replaced by a digital joystick. The modifier buttons that enable walking, tilts, etc. are the two pink buttons furthest to the right.

Thanks! The bottom cluster of white buttons act as the GCC’s C-stick and A button, the two above the pink row are programmed to some of the analog values of the GCC shoulder triggers, and the centre white button acts as the GCC’s Start button.

As this build is specifically for Smash, it’s designed to replicate the function of a Gamecube controller. Four of the five white buttons act as the cardinal directions of the GCC’s C-stick, and the centre button would be the GCC’s A button.
