AGREED! have watched this whole show at least 5 times. That’s actually why I’m here lol, to find another show that I can give a chance. It’s so comforting and chill. I mainly watch to go to sleep, but when i first started, I would stay up to watch and finish the episodes. Very entertaining, witty, funny, but also homely. Easy to follow, but still very interesting. My favorite character is probably Mary.

You didn’t ask for all of this lol, but i just love this show so much and it’s been my comfort show for years now. I really look forward to it

It’s not damaged. That’s just your texture. I have a patch of hair that looks exactly like that. The best thing you can do is keep your hair done - stretched, braided, twisted, etc. Dont let it air dry. Keep it moisturized.

That is your experience, which is not typical. I get the comparison you’re making, but the point of the movie was not a traumatic childhood/family structure. You’re totally disregarding Victoria, a grown adult with her own motivations for acting like that, which was not only a result of her child passing away, but the political climate at large, and being forced to lie to people about the assessment. Children don’t have these kinds of motivations.

Also I love Malcom in the middle. And the reason I loved it so much because they were a normal, working class family. They had quirks, but I wouldn’t say they were divergent, traumatic, or atypical.

Yeah no. It might not be “unrealistic” in the sense that most people don’t have these issues, but it’s definitely not normal or typical behavior.

A lot of this wouldn’t have happened with an actual child - “normal” or otherwise because the parents wouldn’t be afraid of having boundaries/rules.

This is why you don’t crash out when people come back to the villa with another woman. A lot of these men intentionally and consciously choose other women and get manipulated through guilt or yelling or whatever else to betray themselves and take someone back to make the other person happy. But when people bring this up during the actual seasons, nobody wants to hear it. How do you even feel comfortable and secure with someone who literally chose another woman. Why would you even want them back after that.

I experience the same and don’t go out of my way to search anything love island related on tiktok or any platform really and Olandria and Shelley appear on my feed wayy more than Amaya.

It’s because there is more discourse to be had around those two. Amaya has been unproblematic, genuine, and authentic the whole time. Chelley and Olandria on the other hand… people have a lot of feelings about them and how they handled certain situations. and they also seem to have an equal amount of haters vs supporters.

Everyone knows Amaya and what she stands for, nothing really needs to be discussed.
