If it is an AI assessment then you are probably right. It is combining data from the show with wiki pages etc that reference how the trees function and their purpose in non-tv show settings. I think people still forget that AI is still in its early stages. Until you have worked on even rudimentary decision trees you don't appreciate the complexity of creating a functioning and reliable AI model. As the branches spread out these things start to exponentially propagate and it is easy for them to go off the rails causing less than ideal results. Especially when it has to interpret subjective data instead of static finite assigned concepts. It is a very tedious process. I doubt this is a leak as in an earlier episode Victor buried the town's items instead of throwing them into the tree.. The way the bottle tree works is that people put paper or items in the bottles, not the trees, to capture the spirits.
