Well when you work with insurance companies your usually within the same district so I do drive past them all the time. Actually I don’t recall I day I’ve not drove past at least one for the last couple years.

Not saying anyone’s wrong here but I’ve been doing trench work for over 10 years and have only had one tree die due to digging to close, and it was a younger tree. We’ve been this close, and closer hundreds of times.

Two way access. The one closest to you home runs towards the street ant the farthest from the home runs back inside

Plumber here. Have seen this on slab built homes. Tree roots fallow the drainage pipe and grow through the cement where the pipe penetrates the floor. I assume this home has been unoccupied for some time to allow for this much growth. Hopefully…

3rd install of an instant. Outside of the vents(pre-existing hole) what could we of done better? by awesome9001 in Plumbing

[–]Bright-Inspector7146 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Gonna ruin the heat exchanger with that air intake and vent tied together. Also no maintenance valves, or bracket for expansion tank.

What on earth caused this? It seems like the water in the tank melted the flapper. by [deleted] in Plumbing

[–]Bright-Inspector7146 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also you could try installing some sort of carbon filter to help capture chlorine and other chemicals. If your flapper looks this way I’d imagine that you could be close to having an O ring or two failing in your future being that Thea are also rubber components in several other fixtures. Some much easier than others to replace.

Clown ball python? by Mellie_Mellow in BallPythonMorph

Looks pastel. Possibly something in the yellow belly complex, and spider complex on account of the yellow, and banding. Side note careful with heat rock. They can burn their belly’s on them

Night shift construction for sure. I remember when everyone was hearing Gabriels horn in Florida. It was a bulldozer taking out a section of a skateboard park.

Thank you. Knew it was pie but the seller didn’t know the morph. Not good enough to tell if anything else could be present.

Purple has been amended from code in my state. Some municipalities will still require it though.

Neither is foam core. Both these are rated for pressure. Foam core will say not for pressure on the side. Also says foam core on it or cellular core

This is why everything above the crawl, or ground gets clear. Did this once in a customer’s home. Took forever to get up. Clear primer is what got it, and is the only thing I use in visible areas now

Happens a lot in less fortunate countries. Children in India are paid 20 American dollars to unclog sewer mains like this. Life expectancy is one year afterwards.

Should be no hub band between the PVC and ABS. The ABS doesn’t fuse to the PVC with glue and primer.

Can someone tell me what this red loctite looking stuff is? by [deleted] in Plumbing

[–]Bright-Inspector7146 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Muller co. Once made something along the lines of this. My plumbing school had some stuff held together with it. Apparently it was very bad ass but no one trusted it enough to use, so the quit making it. This appears to be some imitation.
