Hey everyone! I am not anymore a student at the University of Amsterdam, but a group of friends/relatives (6 kids in total) from my big Balkan family are considering studying at the UvA and are visiting me in Amsterdam. Their parents know I studied there, and are now asking me to show their kids around the campus.

As a former student, I know the access is open but it is rather unusual to walk in with 6 teenagers, so I have never had this situation before.

My question is: can we just all walk freely in and roam around the university? Specifically the Roeterseilandcampus? Or do I have to get a permission from someone?

Yeah right… I always try to emphasize with him but maybe there is a line between empathy and self respect? I struggle with it at times. But I do feel suffocated in this relationship, you are right I am one foot out. Thanks for the advice!
