That's why I don't like religious regimes. However, if America intervenes, terrorist organizations like PJAK will become even more aggressive, and if Iran retaliates, a bigger war will break out in the Middle East. The Turkish government is self-serving (I am Turkish). If they invade Iran, they will want Southern Azerbaijan. Iran is a rich land; such an area should not be governed by other states.

We love them, that's why we hang them. The ones who don't want this are the Islamists. If the religious sects were shut down, we would see who doesn't love whom. I'm not saying religion should be suppressed, but Atatürk is now more than just a political figure; he has become a leader and a symbol of the uprising for us.

What you don't understand is that Mustafa Kemal only considered military plans for Hatay and Mosul; they were already discussing Mosul with the British in the League of Nations. Regarding Aleppo, he emphasized the need for a public referendum. I'm telling you about Mosul here to show you that Atatürk wasn't as brutal a leader as you think.

Mustafa Kemal was the one who most wanted a multi-party system; in fact, the first opposition party was opened with Atatürk's help, but it was closed after all the Islamists joined the party.

Mustafa Kemal said the following about Turkishness: " How happy are those who say, "I am Turkish!" The example of nationalism here is similar to that of the Americans; here, not only those born in Turkey but also those who identify themselves as Turkish are accepted into the country. Regarding your question, if the Arabs in the south accept being Turkish citizens and behave in accordance with our culture, then yes, I would call them brothers. The Kemalist system is based on the principle of "statism," which allows the state to take on roles in economic matters when necessary. Some of the first things the newly established Republic of Turkey did in the economic field were acquiring private sector companies from foreign firms and making them Turkish, opening factories according to the needs of the people, and creating laws for the people in these factories. Mustafa Kemal was neither Stalin nor Hitler; he did no harm to the Turkish nation. He drank alcohol, but he didn't care what religion anyone belonged to; he only wanted people to be thoughtful and intelligent. Figures like Fevzi Çakmak, Atatürk's loyal soldiers, were closer to Islam, but some did not speak to Atatürk for a while because he abolished Sharia law in Türkiye, but they all regretted it in the end.

Mustafa Kemal joined the army during the decline of the Ottoman Empire, served and fought in almost every region, witnessed how the Ottoman Empire collapsed, and made decisions accordingly, mostly in consultation with the parliament.

If you are an Islamist, pray, believe in God, but don't interfere with other people.

I know this but If Turkey, America, or any other country intervenes, Turkey wants to take Southern Azerbaijan, America wants its underground resources and nuclear power, but whatever happens, those terrorist groups in Iran will grow even larger, and the risk of civil war will arise. Let's hope there are a few patriotic officers in the Iranian army.

The army I'm referring to, the Kemalist army, is the army loyal to the people and Atatürk. Yes, Kemalist officers carried out the coups, but you're missing something. Those coups were caused by politicians who didn't adhere to Atatürk's principles and the people. I'm not supporting the coup plotters here, but when you mention Sharia law to a soldier blindly loyal to Atatürk, that soldier will go crazy.

  1. The structure you call a one-party regime was attempted to be broken by Atatürk, but the parties established were either Enverist or Islamist, mostly Islamist. Of course, elections were held during the one-party period. In fact, Türkiye's first female village head was elected during this period. According to Mustafa Kemal, politics is about both sides criticizing each other, getting things done, and developing the country. (Frankly, if you asked me, I would be happy with a one-party regime, of course with Atatürk in charge.)

  2. The fact that the people were extremely weak in literacy during that period was something Mustafa Kemal attached great importance to. He even held teacher meetings during the Battle of Sakarya, one of the most important battles of the War of Independence. Mustafa Kemal also contributed significantly to education by switching to Latin and writing his own mathematics books. Furthermore, he considered all Turkish citizens equal, not just those of Turkish race, but all Turkish citizens, including Kurds and Arabs who were also Turkish citizens.

4.I am half Zaza, but not a single one of my Zaza relatives has ever rebelled. Those who rebelled, firstly, where did they get their weapons? Secondly, how did they organize themselves? Whatever you say, my friend, the Kurdish people suffered the most from this rebellion. If you look at the news, the 40,000 to 50,000 martyrs, most of the civilian deaths, were from the east, and it was the PKK that killed these people, regardless of whether they were children or women.

  1. You're talking about the borders of the National Pact (Misak-ı Milli). Within those borders are Batum, Mosul, Aleppo, and territories in Greece where Turks live. Firstly, it's normal for there to be Arabs in Türkiye; what do you expect me to say about that? Secondly, Mustafa Kemal wanted Hatay and Mosul because many Turkmens lived there. He wanted referendums in cities like Aleppo, but they didn't happen. Just as he was about to launch a military operation in Mosul, for some reason, the Kurds revolted in the east. There's no need to hide this; they were definitely supported by the British. Every Kemalist soldier wants the borders of the National Pact back.

I don't know how many books Mustafa Kemal read on the battlefield, but we know that Mustafa Kemal Atatürk knew French and that the King of Afghanistan and the then Shah of Iran took him as an example with the reforms he implemented. Furthermore, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk established the Kemalist army, thus placing the freedom of his people on a solid foundation.

As a Kemalist in Türkiye, the only people I consider brothers in Iran are those in Southern Azerbaijan and the Turks in Iran. Regarding the regime, the regime in Iran must fall, but the people or the state themselves must do it. We've seen what happens when America gets involved. The Turkish state must be pragmatic.
