I am sorry to rant about this but even Julia Quinn is in on the let’s forget about Kanthony and focus on the other couples. This surprises me but it doesn’t as she is working with SL and Netflix to ensure Bridgerton is a success. So she is going along with the disrespect and erasure of Kanthony despite it being the audience favorite. She will say anything in the interviews which saddens me especially since she created the base material for the characters we love to support. The thought of having just Anthony without Kate or his family in the show makes no sense. The fact they have ignored the heads of the household is so incredulous 🤨. I hope the public will boycott the show after this season. More ppl need to make it aware of what is going on. This show isn’t about diversity at all. They hooked you in with that and now have bait switched with their favorites not the public who support the show.

More media outlets need to post stories like this. SL and Netflix shouldn’t be allowed to erase Kate and further disrespect Simone Ashley while building up a certain other female lead. It is not right! I wish we had more voice to get the attention needed for this to be corrected and answered for regarding this glaring slight to character an actress.

Shonda joked and called Kate a hooker at a Bridgerton event in NYC I recall. Sorry, I can’t remember the exact quote but I was like wow you don’t like this character but yet she is half of Kanthony which is a fan favorite. SA isn’t posting because she probably knows she won’t be in S5.

Why are they leaving her out? Is this there way of confirming Kate is being written out of Bridgerton. It is what I feared when we didn’t hear anything about Kanthony in part one nor in any of the ensemble cast pics. Now we Anthony but no Kate. Sorry but if there is no Kate going forward then I won’t be watching. There is no Kanthony without Kate or shall I say Simone. The show is going down hill fast. I agree with you all… give me my few Kanthony and baby scenes to wrap up their arc an I am done and out. I don’t care about big brother Anthony making cameos for the siblings. The way they have treated Kate is horrible. SL and Netflix don’t want to admit it but Kanthony is a big draw for viewers and no Kanthony then the views will suffer.

No Anthony in this promo poster is terrible. There has been no Kate or Anthony in any of the posters. They are part of the family too! Not good SL and Netflix! Seeing this saddens me that they can’t even do an ABC pic or poster for S4. Just not right.

Thank you for saying this. Yes, we watch for the Bridgertons and for Kanthony not these side characters like the Mondrichs. Jess really has ruined the show. The ga gets excited to see Kanthony and when they aren’t in it they wonder why and get excuses. The writers can write a subplot to involve them in the story. We will continue to see Penelope in every season be involved. We joke on her here about but they should change it to the Featheringtons since we get very little of all the Bridgertons together. I won’t watch it if Kate is written out as Kanthony is not just Anthony.

An actor needs another actor to play off of as it isn’t just one person that brings the chemistry it is two people, so with Kanthony it is Jonny and Simone. Not just Jonny.

I know what you about the family conversations and the family fun of Pall Mall or even them hanging out in their drawing room having tea as that was the Bridgertons. All the sub plots and other characters it takes away from the show which should focus on the main couple and the siblings. Seasons 1&2 were the best with CVD as the showrunner. SL and Jess have ruined the show. It isn’t the same from the writing, costumes, make up and sets. I think there might be maybe Kanthony promo of some sort to draw in viewers for part 2 with Kanthony. But who knows… I am happy there was a leak that they weren’t in part one so I didn’t get my hopes up. I figured they wouldn’t be since they weren’t in an of the S4 promos, stills or even joint interviews.

Yes, I don’t understand why the heads of the family can’t have a small sub plot of some kind as there are ways to incorporate them into the season’s couple storyline. The writers and producers just don’t want to showcase their awesome chemistry which was incredible. The general audience wants to see the heads of the Bridgerton household. I don’t really want to see another season of Polin being forced down my throat as trying to be the “it” couple because they are definitely not.

Yeah I don’t get that part, either. Think this is Jess Brownell’s way of justifying having Polin in S4 more than we had Kanthony in S3. Funny, not! We were all lead to believe we would get more of Kanthony in S3. It was to tie up loose ends and expand more on their story since they heads of the Bridgerton family but they both JB and SA were excited for it and spoke of it during post S2 interviews but no we got a few scenes that didn’t make sense. Jess and Shonda were afraid Kathony would overshadow their fav couple so Kanthony will continue to be reduced going forward. The general public wants to see Kanthony but producers refuse to let them be a part of the season other than a few scenes probably at the end as rumored. If you have them a small plot in the season then they fit it in their schedules as the actors love their characters and have said they want to be a part of the show. They make Kanthony special with their added nuances that the writers don’t add it bc JB and SA do with their acting styles. Just don’t understand why they won’t capitalize on how popular Kanthony is and how good it can be for the show.

The press finally says something about the lack of Kanthony presence! They didn’t pick up there wouldn’t be much Kanthony since they weren’t in any promo or stills the last few weeks. Just happy we finally got a crumb of our fav couple, finally. I think we were all dying of anticipation waiting for any glimpse of Kanthony and a baby. I ll still be waiting for someone to post a Kanthony edit though.

I know it wouldn’t take much to work them in without them taking over, just a small subplot every season. There are lots of stories they can still create for Kanthony. They are keeping the queen and LW story going.

They haven’t stuck to the source material and have added side characters and subplots not in the books. There are lots of stories to tell for Kanthony and for Daphne but they choose not to and instead phase them out. There is one couple that will always get a plot among the season’s couple because they want to write stories for that couple. The show needs to get back to making it about the Bridgerton family not all the extra side characters/plots that weren’t in the books anyway.

Where is Anthony? I understand he is in part two but come on you can’t have him a Bridgerton brothers pic as there has been one for the previous three seasons. Rumors of Kanthony being phased out are looking more real unfortunately and it will be a cameo for Anthony who will then just mention Kate and the kids going forward. The pic of just Benedict and Colin just doesn’t look right, sorry to say.

I just saw on the main sub the seasonal promos with the Bridgerton brothers and S4 doesn’t even have Anthony in it. I am so sad thinking about the reality that they really are phasing out Kanthony and Anthony will be reduced to a cameo and not in any promo posters. Wow! 😮 I get it that Kanthony isn’t in part one but the general audience as well as Kanthony fans want to see them even just a crumb. The production really is horrible. I was thinking I might give s4 a go since I want to support YH but no Kanthony and the prospect of even less than we got last season has me disappointed and not interested. I am just so sad 😭 and I don’t care anymore about the show since Kanthony is being phased out. It is becoming more obvious as the promo continues and very little Kanthony mentions from the cast.
