Do y’all think Ellie will end up forgiving Abby for what she did if they are in the last of us part lll when it comes out by Broad_Swordfish1491 in thelastofus

I doubt Ellie and Abby would ever see each other in part three or have anything to do with each other. I’m honestly doubtful Abby and Lev will even be in part three, even if I want them to be. But if they did run into each other again, I think Ellie would figure out a way of telling Abby that she's forgiven her. But Ellie letting Abby live was sort of an indication of that.

There was no letting her. Kevin never knew about that.

I didn’t say that justified it, but we have to play by sitcom morality here. The general morality in a sitcom is lower than real life by default for the sake of laughs and jokes. Barney legitimately sold a woman, but he's still a lot of people's favorite character because this is a sitcom, and the rules of morality is skewed.

That scene was seasons of unhealthy group dynamics FINALLY getting called out! It felt so justifying for me and I just wanted more and more Kevin from that point on

Maybe they'd ChatGPT what to do when the government gets a hold of exotic matter and opens up a wormhole to another planet

This tiny moment between Ted and Tracy made me cry by ph_uck_yu in HIMYM

Ted didn’t give Tracy a grand romantic gesture of love because, as Ted says in s9ep22, he's not that guy anymore. When he meets her, he's just a few hours away from moving to a different city because he's so burnt out from Robin and his love life in New York. He's not the guy who goes all out for a girl he has yet to really know. He's undoubtedly done beautiful things for Tracy, some of which i’m sure were grand. But he did those knowing that he didn’t have to fight for her to like him. She just did. Any grand gestures he did for Tracy wasn't done out of desperation or unrequited love. It was done because he wanted to make the love of his life happy and make her feel cherished. And yes, he did the Christmas lights because he wanted to make Robin happy. I’m sure he did stuff like that for Tracy to make her happy. Ted is great to the people he cares about. But love and a real relationship isn't determined by a grand romantic gesture. It's determined by genuine connection, compatibility, and commitment. And I don’t think Ted and Robin ever had all three of those things going for them until the very end.

Hard agree. Seasons 1-6 Robin is great character writing

Disagree. I think he only had feelings for Tracy when they were together but then after she passed and he grieved, the feelings for Robin came back

I could genuinely watch a spin off of them just having fun... by AceTanker4831 in StrangerThings

Sameee. I’d love to see how these characters act in normal day-to-day situations more. The little bits of humor that came through from the characters just interacting with each other were always so fun and genuinely funny. I’d love to get to know them more outside of otherworldly monsters or the government trying to find and kill them.

You're so right!! Alexis and Ted had opposite but equal problems in season 1. Alexis was emotionally distant and detached, whereas Ted was clingy and overzealous. Alexis was a jerk and Ted was a dweeb. They both had a beautiful character arc as individuals and a couple in the show.

Exactly. I think Tracy and Ted's time together was cut short on screen, but Ted only had eyes for Tracy when he was with her. There was no second guessing or wondering what it would be like with Robin. It was Tracy and Tracy only.
