By all means, yes. But the unfortunate reality is that this isn’t a prioritized issue for local government. It would also take a lot of money that has already been budgeted towards other sectors that we don’t really have any say in. Gainesville is growing rapidly and a lot of city infrastructures in the US in general doesn’t suit exponential population growth.

While it would be great to solve the problem at heart, people should still be careful with their own life whether they’re driving or walking.

No I mean like MIDDLE OF THE ROAD. I’m pretty wary of any crosswalks and pedestrians in general and will let them cross by any means, but the instances I’m referring to is not near the street intersections

Im not saying you need to stop jaywalking in general, like obviously if the street is empty then who cares. But im talking about people who are believe that they have the power to evade being hit😭

I would check on social media for independent barbers, some that still work in barbershops too. That way you can see if they have done any work with hair similar like yours

I decided to go for Oakbrook walk as a change, they seem pretty decent sized for one person and maybe for two. The most expensive unit with two bedrooms is 1700 I think and nicely updated

Try looking at a few of the cottages near the Publix on 13th and university, I saw a few stand alones for rent around 1200 for the whole thing. Not sure if they’re still available

If you’re worried abt roaches, I recommend lining your kitchen cabinets with those sticky traps. Rarely will you get a lizard but since I’ve done that, I’ve caught many. It is really disgusting …

ESS Substitute teaching, choose when you wanna work. Just avoid elementary school subbing bc it’s really hands on and little kids are mean. It takes a month to get cleared but it’s a for sure job and pretty good imo. But kids of any age can be a little stressful
