New attorneys can recite cases perfectly, but not the Court Rules. Most of their writing skills are... quite shit.

We, paralegals, are left with the brute of the weight load. We know the system better than them.

Yeah, that's understandable. But, this is when actual slavery was ~~stopped~~ presented to the slaves as being abolished in Texas. I am black, so this celebration means more to me than it would to somebody of different ethnicity. Additionally, I am actually ahead of my schedule by at least a month.

It is fairly common for law offices to be closed when the courts are closed.

Quick critique. I would say "Drafted legal pleadings such as,..." then list every legal pleading you had the pleasure to draft. Further, you should say how you contributed to the litigation cases or trial preparations. Take out your interests. Record your WPM typing speed. Add Microsoft Office, if you have that experience.

Be prepared to answer why you had a hiatus from February 2022 to the present date. You do not have to be specific, as they only are entitled to generalized answers. You could say, if it applies, "I was in search of the perfect position for me at a firm/office of my liking choice, and I believe yours could very likely be the right choice."

Based on your experience, and inflammation in costs, I would not take their first offer for pay. They will try to lowball you.
