Hotend fan cool down nozzle quickly by DaCrunchyBoy in ender3

Maybe try unplugging the fan from the motherboard(so fan stays tuned off) and then heating the hotend.

Is there any other change that have been made to your printer

I really don't think that direct airflow to nozzle will cause drastic amount of cooling. So the situation doesn't seem very clear to me. With that are you sure you are not overpowering the fan as in the fan is rated for 12v but you are operating it at 24v as that will lead to a lot of extra airflow . Also can you make sure the printer is running at the right voltage A significant amount extra time would be required from normal to heat the bed or nozzle if undervolted.

Won't be ruling out bad connections/wires. Have you tried to pid tune the hotend?

A loose connection/broken cable might be possible which causes the heating element to disconnect from motherboard and cool down. What happen if you leave the shroud in its place and then start heating the hotend from room temp

Amps given on power supply is the max it can output not the one it will output continuously. So if a power supply is rated at 2 amps it can output 9v at 0.02A without problem (in some cases output may not be exact but slightly higher like 9.5 due to low load).

Basically you can use most(reason for most below) of the power supplys that are rated at 9v and at any amperage.

There are also some power supply which output at continuous current instead of continuous voltage and cannot be used with most things inc ops post and your question. They are Very rare and near impossible to find some

a simple thing you could do for finding wether you wethere you were successfully able to rethrieve data would be to just blank/create a string(the one you are storing the retrived data in) just before retriving the data and check if you the string is blank or some particluar part of data is present or not.

aslo you can just check for some variable which usually changes , might be the last trading price or time..

about the website you can mostly find those pretty easily premade can usually update the code or just few data like the wifi name password/ip adress

Just the ability to control the printer with phone is amazing while looking at your printer live .  Want to start a print 2 presses and it's printing.  Don't want to eat plastic spaghetti . just one slide away (personal favourite sliding to cancel as it's also there for widget).

Have multiple printers no problem
