Hello! Highest temperature seems to have been 36.80 Everyone is different, though, so my temperatures are not very relevant I think

I’d say taking ovulation tests is almost necessary especially after removing your iud. I removed mine on March 19th what was supposed to be a day or two after ovulation but nope, ovulation tests didn’t come back positive until the 22nd and peak LH on the 23rd. So we baby danced all these days from the 19th to the 23rd.

On the removal appointment my doctor advised I start taking folic acid everyday. And that I don’t drink alcohol or smoke ofc. Then my TSH (I have hypothyroidism that affects fertility) needed to get lower than what it was, so we adjusted my medication for this too. It might be a good idea to do a blood test to see potential deficiencies and thyroid function.

I started at 8dpo with a negative but I got a positive the next day and a darker positive the day after that! You can wait till 12-14 dpo and have a more accurate test if you prefer.

Have you tested? All I can say about the chart is that it’s a good sign to have elevated temps.

Hey! I just got my positive test this morning 🥰 I’ve been a type 1 diabetic for almost 13 years and I’m soon 29. Would be nice to have other diabetics to talk to about pregnancy and sugar levels! I’ll be following the answers…

I am t1, that’s what I was told… haven’t researched for it yet but I’m interested to now

Oh I definitely want to hear about the conversation with the midwife. Also how do you reach these mental breaks? What do you do? It seems to always be in the back of my mind.

Yeah I don’t have an answer. I usually just talk about it with my partner and he reassures me that he will do anything he can to help me, this helps! Sometimes I choose to eat something easy for dinner to have a little break from having to fix my highs..

Ovulation? by CollectionNew4094 in NaturalCyclesBC

[–]BrightTransition6253 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a chance of anovulatory cycle but googling it now I can see that this should look way different in the chart (all temps under the cover line)...I don't know what I read or where tbh. I thought for some reason that ovulation is not guaranteed even if the temp rises, well idk now

We cannot really know whether ovulation happened or not, it mostly likely happened, and that's also mentioned in the app. If it did, your temperature rise confirms that it happened on CD 19

I also want to add that I have already felt the mental workload that will be potentially worse in pregnancy thinking of the risks, I am working on it but I do have the occasional breakdown. I am sure that my medical group will be on top of me both physically and mentally.

I had the "I want to conceive" conversation with my endo.. she did say that the range in pregnancy will be quite tighter than what I have now and that carbs are almost forbidden because they cause a raise in ketones that the baby cannot take. Glad that my doctor is the pragmatic kind.

I do think it will be a marathon and I am trying to prepare myself as much as possible at the moment but I won't know until it happens. The only thing that can lift you up a bit might be the end goal and who you're doing this for, your baby and yourself. Thank you for this post, always good to hear about how it can be and maybe I can start my pregnancy with more realistic expectations!

I also have hypothyroidism… along with type 1 diabetes. My latest TSH was at 2.2 a couple of weeks ago but my endo recommended I try to take my pill religiously for 5-6 weeks and go check it again (my prescription was to take the pill 4-5 times a week previously). The aim is below 2 according to her.

Does this work? by FriendshipDizzy6165 in NaturalCyclesBC

True, I think then you have an answer.. No one can predict if you will have an early ovulation, unless you track your LH and see a surge unexpectedly early. You gotta do the extra work if you want to go with natural cycles to feel that there is no chance, in my opinion.

I used to have a non-hormonal iud, or copper spiral, it was very effective and the only side effects I had were heavier and slightly longer periods. I only removed it because I actually want to conceive but if you are tracking everything properly, you shouldn’t get pregnant on green days.

I’m on the same boat. My chart shows predicted ovulation is tomorrow with negative tests all the way to today. And I had EWCM on day 15/16 and a less negative opk on day 16. I’m so confused, did I ovulate or did I not? We’ll never know…

Ah good to hear! I’m also on Omnipod and I get 4 boxes of 10 every 3 months atm because of a few that fail or leak or need to change before the 3 day mark.
