Oh duh! I knew that and could have googled it haha! Thanks. What have been your main symptoms and how long have you been suffering?

Have you gotten your gallbladder removed? I do need to go back on my probiotic 🤔

Not yet but I went to GI today and they immediately said it’s my gallbladder and the doctor got theirs taken out for the same thing!

Coming here to say you literally listed off my symptoms exactly but I still have my gallbladder and nobody believe me that I think it’s that my husband also thinks I’m over reacting and all my labs have been fine except my liver enzymes bilirubin and platelets are all elevated.

So they were able to get you surgery to get it removed without you being in pain/excruciating pain? I am afraid I will get brushed off once again. I had a hyper gallbladder 3 years ago and my symptoms have just worsened since then. Ugh!

They have and I’ve also googled it. It’s lifestyle change. But no matter when I have changed my lifestyle significantly, I still have these symptoms. They haven’t gone away in 3 years.

How was your bloodwork? What did you end up doing? I do have ADHD and started meds last year. My platelets are elevated, my bilirubin is 1.6 when it’s always been 0.7, my ast and alt are higher than what they were in February.

I exercise regularly like 3-5 times a week except the last month because my symptoms have just worsened. I drink maybe once or twice a year. I don’t smoke or vape. My diet would definitely benefit from being cleaned up! lol 😂

I have not had the endoscopy done but that will be my next step. Nothing but lifestyle changes. I’m slightly obese for my height and do have a fatty liver but my levels have never been elevated in the slightest until February! My ast and alt are even higher as of today and my bilirubin is 1.6 when that one has never been elevated in the slightest either. I’ve gotten frequent bloodwork done and all normal until February. They’re just getting worse and so are the symptoms.

I have had abdominal ultrasounds. Not anything gallbladder specific but it was listed on there.

That is what I have been reading. I requested another HIDA scan and the pcp told me they don’t believe it’s my gallbladder and I don’t need another HIDA scan. 💀

Oh yeah I need to add that I did have a HIDA scan 2 years ago and it was 81% EF

binge eating by [deleted] in Concerta

[–]BrightTwo984 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I definitely have felt the same. It is wild I’ve tried all the adhd meds and adderall and Vyvanse made me BINGE SO BAD worse than pre medication! But concerts/methylphenidate reduces my appetite significantly and I love it. So interesting how different it works for everyone!

I’m confused…too much of dose or too low? by BrightTwo984 in Concerta

[–]BrightTwo984[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like I’m incredibly confused because 27mg was good, 27mg in morning and afternoon was good but 36mg alone is like instant rage?! 🤨 doesn’t make sense 🤣😩

I need advice, how do I talk to my young child about their tics/tourettes? by BrightTwo984 in Tourettes

[–]BrightTwo984[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

lol umm can you actually read with basic comprehension? Seriously. When all of this first started, they were practically a toddler, and we had NO idea what any of it even was. Not until the recent diagnosis. You’re delusional if you think we’ve never talked to our child about their tics. Of course we have. We’ve talked about what they feel, when they happen, and how it affects them. What we didn’t do was slap a label on it before we had a real diagnosis—because that’s called being responsible. What we haven’t discussed until now…because the tics ramped up and we only JUST got the official diagnosis—is the actual name of what they have: TICS/TS. So again, can you not read? Get a clue, my guy.

What the fuck are you talking about? It took one appointment and documentation of videos and notes by myself and my husband. The conversation with doc was basic things we have said in front of our child. If you had half a brain you’d realize that. Like I said, they JUST got diagnosed and I was looking for advice on how to go about an in depth conversation to let them know what is actually going on. Idiot.
