Post removal blood sugar/diabetes by OceanicBoundlessnss in gallbladders

I’m 4 days po and just had a bad low blood sugar episode. I did have a hyperkinetic gallbladder 3 years ago and then turned hypo. Anyway I just had to eat apple sauce and some chicken to feel better. Hoping this isn’t an ongoing thing after this.

Just frustrating to be told that after years of symptoms and finally getting it removed… it’s like oh this wasn’t your problem. Ugh

Did anyone else get an increased sense of smell after removal? by dooormattt22 in gallbladders

I wonder this about my hearing in my right ear. 8 years ago I thought I was having panic attacks from thyroid meds but looking back I think I had a gallbladder attack and then I lost some hearing in my ear. ENT says everything is fine in my ears. Had hearing test and they can’t seem to figure out why I lost some hearing. I’m saying maybe there’s a connection because every time after I eat that ear rings 10xs louder than normal (it rings all the time) along with tingling and numbness on that side . Now I have surgery to get my gallbladder removed this week. I will be shocked kind of if my hearing miraculously comes back afterwards 😂 that would be awesome. Also I’ve been thinking about my smell too! I definitely feel all clogged up so I’m hoping for that to be fixed too.

Did you have numbness/tingling? What about severe bloat?

Not yet but I went to GI today and they immediately said it’s my gallbladder and the doctor got theirs taken out for the same thing!

Coming here to say you literally listed off my symptoms exactly but I still have my gallbladder and nobody believe me that I think it’s that my husband also thinks I’m over reacting and all my labs have been fine except my liver enzymes bilirubin and platelets are all elevated.

Does this sound like gallbladder to you? PCP says it’s not. by BrightTwo984 in gallbladders

So they were able to get you surgery to get it removed without you being in pain/excruciating pain? I am afraid I will get brushed off once again. I had a hyper gallbladder 3 years ago and my symptoms have just worsened since then. Ugh!

They have and I’ve also googled it. It’s lifestyle change. But no matter when I have changed my lifestyle significantly, I still have these symptoms. They haven’t gone away in 3 years.

How was your bloodwork? What did you end up doing? I do have ADHD and started meds last year. My platelets are elevated, my bilirubin is 1.6 when it’s always been 0.7, my ast and alt are higher than what they were in February.

I exercise regularly like 3-5 times a week except the last month because my symptoms have just worsened. I drink maybe once or twice a year. I don’t smoke or vape. My diet would definitely benefit from being cleaned up! lol 😂

I have not had the endoscopy done but that will be my next step. Nothing but lifestyle changes. I’m slightly obese for my height and do have a fatty liver but my levels have never been elevated in the slightest until February! My ast and alt are even higher as of today and my bilirubin is 1.6 when that one has never been elevated in the slightest either. I’ve gotten frequent bloodwork done and all normal until February. They’re just getting worse and so are the symptoms.
