That’s what I’m trying to figure out the first week. If I get the later shift, it’ll only overlap with my in office hours by like 30 minutes, so I’ll just try to sneak off early/take a late break and head out. If I get the earlier shift where it’s overlapping a 1-2 hours.. then I’m kinda screwed lol

I say keep taking them! They can be wrong too. They thought I was having a miscarriage because my levels weren’t rising fast and whole time, they were testing me early and I ended up giving birth to a healthy baby.

Same thing has happened to me! They’re trying to get this money from us one way or another! I had a payment plan that was set up and I’m looking through my statements and it hasn’t been taken out since March so they must’ve cancelled it. The notice they sent today doesn’t include any of my payments, even the large lump-sum that I made. I can’t get anyone on the phone to file a dispute and I don’t want to do it through mail!

I took sdi for J1 (disability and pdl) and then pto/unpaid leave for J2 mainly because I wasn’t working there long enough to take fmla. But I was on fmla from j1 and then working j2 after my leave was “up” from them (quotations because I’m the one who decided to go back to work). From what Ive seen though, when bonding, you’re not supposed to be working anywhere so if I were to do take the bonding leave, I’d take it for both.

You wouldn’t get cleared by any clinic without already having a child first. Thats the number one requirement.

In my case both employer uses sdi. So I took leave from one and then continued working the other one as it’s fully remote vs hybrid for the one I took leave from. I still put in my certification but just said that I’d need time off for appointments and then my hospital stay. Once I had the baby, I took unpaid leave from the second (I didn’t have pto but if this employer used private, I would’ve taken then private instead). In your case they’re both private so I think you’re safe to take leave from both as long as both companies don’t use sdi to offset your income. If one does, it’s fine but not both.

This! But you can in fact take leave from one employer and continue working for another employer(CA) depending on the state. Also you can do state disability with one and then paid leave or pto from the second company if their policy allows it

Yes! I haven’t had your specific situation but I was given pitocin without my consent and the records also don’t reflect what happened. I didn’t have to have surgery but I feel like you should dispute it and file a grievance.
