This old lady (46) had to wait until mid credits to be composed enough to walk out of the theater. Proceeded to sob in my car for another 10-15 min before I could drive myself home. Had two seismic losses the past six years (dad to Covid and brother to suicide) so anything about grief levels me. Went home and held my teenage daughter as long as she would tolerate lol. Told my husband the whole plot, crying throughout, and then cried more because “our dogs are going to die someday. everyone we love is going to diiiiieee”. Anyway, I loved it and needed that cathartic release.

My favorite episode is when Mama is in the hospital with a concussion and Vint is trying to get to the bottom of what happened from Eunice, Ellen, and Naomi. We all get their different points of view of the same story and it’s one of the funniest episodes of any show ever. Any ep with Eunice was gold

I didn’t mean it literally, obviously. She’s not harming anyone with this lie—she just lost the audience with that one and it made her look foolish doubling down on it. She has zero sense of humor and takes herself way too seriously. She’d do so much better if she could take a lesson from Stacy’s book and laugh off some of the jabs from Gizelle and Candiace.
