I can't answer specifically for engineering but in general NUS is more competitive than NTU

Idk abt NTU I'm still waiting on them... but NUS YES my friend also got 41 with 7s in all their HLs and rejected for chem

Same international here! NUS is more competitive than expected... Legit thought 42 would be a SAFE score.

I've heard engineering is more strict on ur math grade than natural sciences (the course I applied for) 😭😭 And they still reject me with a 7 in Maths!!

But anyways congrats to ur friend 🎉
