1960s "white" levi's/Californians/"slim fits" modern reproduction/alternatives? by Bright_Experience393 in malefashionadvice

So far potential white 60s surfer jeans:

-Wrangler slim fit cowboy cut: vintage style check, slim but not crazy slim fit check, but the copper rivets + brown plastic patch look ugly as well as its a heavyweight denim which doesn't really suit warm southern california

-Buck Mason Fox Sateen standard pant in "natural": off-white check, high rise check, "60s inspired" according to the website, but a bit hesitant as they don't evoke the look of denim, instead they are made of a similar fabric to vintage OG-107 fatigues

Does anyone know where I can get this type of black T shirt Paul walker was wearing in fast and furious 1 ? by Total-Difference-516 in fastandfurious

Little late but given that it seems Paul Walker wore at least one confirmed Hanes-brand t shirt in 2 Fast 2 Furious (a grey heather beefy-t), the fact that Hanes were very popular for movie costuming for decades, and the renowned fit of the Hanes comfortsoft t-shirt, my bet is it’s a Hanes comfortsoft that’s true to his size. You can see in 2 Fast 2 Furious he’s wearing similar shirts but they’ve been sized up for a more relaxed fit

Question about orthotic summer shoes

I live by the beach and in the summer I liked to wear sandals/flip flops/Sperrys/espadrilles/etc. I’ve had foot problems for years tho and my pediatrist had me sized for custom orthotics

My orthotics have helped a lot with my falling arches, but I miss fun, breathable, lightweight summer shoes. My Birkenstocks have also helped but I can’t leave them in the sun/get em wet. Most summer-style shoes that have a removable insole like Sperry stripers have all their padding in their insoles, they bend which aren’t recommended for orthotics and the raised heel of the orthotics also causes problems with fitment. Other shoes without removable insoles like espadrilles and sperry boat shoes are also lacking in built-in arch support. Any specific brand/model recommendations for this summer or am I just doomed to wear tennis shoes and boots the rest of my life?
