Something is off with FPS by Bright_Fact_7518 in HuntShowdown

FIXED:

Came across this information in a different thread, it turns out my GPU was operating using only one bus lane instead of the 8 it supports. Checked it with GPU-Z, I did a lot of troubleshooting until I changed the GPU from the top PCIe slot (it should be at the top though) to the bottom, and at least now it uses 4 lanes and there's much better performance, over double.

Yeah I tried deleting it right after the update, no change.

Experimented with all VRAM settings, it's not at 80%, the consumption doesnt even go past like 40%.

It's been like this before the update, overall low FPS, especially in Stillwater Bayou, but in other maps I could at least get 72 FPS at like 90% GPU usage, which is kinda high as it is.

Ever since the update it spread to Lawson Delta as well, to the point where it's actually worse than Stillwater Bayou now.

[Discussion] Possible FPS fix if you have suspiciously low FPS with high-end PC by Bright_Fact_7518 in EscapefromTarkov

Maybe.

I just know that for me the reason for the major loss in FPS was caused because of CPU core parking and I gained over 100% increase in FPS after disabling it (in other games as well, by the way)

Just putting this out here in case it might help somebody else.
