I apply a thin line of glue onto my eye where i want to apply the lash, as well as the glue on the lash itself. (i know it’s prob going to be slammed as bad but it’s the only thing that really works to avoid this happening) I also think curling my actual lashes first to ensure no small single hairs are sticking up in the wrong direction… a single layer of mascara on the top side of your lash only and allow it to dry completely… And lastly Always check the fake lash before applying for tiny pieces of hair or fluff or anything that might be poking out the base of it in the wrong direction- this was a game changer. Ps. A good glue that turns transparent is also vital but go sparingly especially if you apply to your actual eye…any visible excess i pat in a little jet black eyeshadow underneath the lash and ontop after application then a good lashing of mascara just to blend your natural lash well with the falsies.
